A simple strategy game like Othello, Reversi & Attaxx.

Play against your device or another player. Choose one of your squares and then either copy or move that square into one of the highlighted squares surrounding it. Take over the other player's squares by jumping next to them, and win by making it impossible for the other player to move.

Forget about the daily commute - fire up Squares! STILL FREE!

• Squares now slide across to their destination, so you can see where they came from and how that move affected the board.
• If you choose a board from the options and complete the level, you used to play that exact board again. It now jumps to the next board so your game isn't repetitive.
• Added missing text in the app icon shortcut.
• Fixed a problem on the first board - player 2 always had an extra initial playing piece, which was unfair on player 1.

Finally!

Omg yes! I still play this game to this day. I though y'all forgot about this app. Glad to see an update. A long over due update

I'd like to complain about the volume, though. There's no adjusting it, if you turn the volume down on your phone, it has no affect. It stays very loud. Putting my phone on vibrate turns he sound effect off, but sometimes I want to hear it, just not so loud. Hope there's an update for this

Great game but...

Great game that I've played for years. It's something that's fun when you get into the groove. But recently you added bonus squares and I just wanted to suggest being able to turn them off in the settings.

Thanks for your review. Just to let you know, I’m working on making the bonus squares optional. Should have a new version out soon.

Favorite Game I have!

I've had the original iPhone and 3G. So I've had apps since they first came out. This is the only game i've had since it came out that I have not deleted. Extremely entertaining. Only wish I would have is a harder AI or being able to play others. Even just locally over Wi-fi. Other that that though I play this game nearly daily.
