Ratings and Reviews
Amazingly Analog Sound!
This is by far the best sounding and least expensive synth I could find on the appstore. You simply cannot get accurate analog anywhere else without spending a fortune, so do yourself a favor and get this app!! My only request is that there be some way to enable and disable free pitch sliding--by which I mean, there should be some sort of on&off button for being able to slide from note to note--it makes playing in regular tunings difficult. Works for Raga tunings and such but can be frustrating otherwise. Also, presets!!
Nice Synth for Bass sounds Audiobus would help!
I prefer SSSSYNTH over almost any other synth for a nice Bass keyboard sound. I own Animoog, Magellan, Nave, Nlog, Sunrizer, IpolySix, Alchemy, Imini, IMS-20, Sampletank, you name it. It's not as fancy as the others, but the sound is nice for my ears. Unfortunately I no longer use it because it doesn't have Audiobus like most others. Do. I hope it will be added to ssssynth!
This is my second review in 3 years.
I got this because I needed a simple thing to make some notes and swishing sounds for titles. What a pleasant surprise. First, it is setup like an old moog type keyboard. It sounds OK and would be a great thing for kids to learn keyboard programming. I do wish the keyboard layout would be a bit larger, or at least the black keys shorter. You also have to hit the key in the exact center in order for it to be on key but for the price, I can deal with it.
If you are looking for endless hours of learning fun, get this app.
My other thing, there are no "in app purchases". I have tried many other apps and you get cheap sounds until you pay.
This app is great as is! maybe a couple tweaks :)
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
