Description

SSTP Connect is a VPN client that supports these protocols:
- SSTP (MS-SSTP)
- SoftEther VPN

This is only a VPN client. No VPN service is included. You need to specify the server you are connecting to.

• Native
Only iOS native libraries are used in the core function, including the TLS stack. No OpenSSL.
Connections are saved natively so that you can start a connection from the system settings.

• Simple
VPN clients ought to be small and simple. No ads, analytics or other 3rd-party SDK are included.

• Privacy
No data is collected from you. Connection log only exists in the memory and is never saved to the device.

• Complete
Support all password and certificate-based authentications available in Windows 11.
Support authenticating by password and certificate at the same time with TEAP (EAP chaining).
Protocol details below.

• Security
Passwords and certificates are stored in the iOS keychain. SSTP Connect never saves them locally for convenience.

• IPv6 Ready
Support both IPv6 connections and stateless IPv6 configuration in the VPN tunnels. (DHCPv6 not supported)

• More than TCP
Support NAT traversal (NAT-T) and UDP acceleration just like the official SoftEther client. (Requiring iOS 12+)

• Easy Import and Export
Not only from SSTP Connect, reading connection settings from SoftEther Client Manager is also a piece of cake.

• Routing
Accept static routes pushed from the server or add your own entries.

SSTP Authentication Methods
- PEAP*
- EAP-TTLS*
- TEAP* (EAP chaining)
- EAP-TLS*
- EAP-MSCHAPv2
- MSCHAPv2
- CHAP
- PAP
* Requires iOS 12+

SoftEther Authentication Methods
- Password
- RADIUS / NT Domain Password
- Certificate
- Anonymous

Supported Server Platforms
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and later
• Microsoft Azure P2S VPN
• MikroTik RouterOS*
• SoftEther VPN Server
• VPN Azure

* Servers configured without certificates are not supported.

Works Great With Microsoft SSTP VPN

In my organization we use Microsoft VPN servers. End users connect using SSTP. This works great with Windows machines, but it leaves iOS devices out in the cold. In the past, I also supported L2TP as a second protocol just to use with our iOS devices. The problem is that we moved to multi factor authentication (MFA) for VPN using the Microsoft Authenticator app. This works great for our Windows machines, but it wouldn’t work with L2TP on iOS devices.

I was looking for a solution to all of this, when I came across your app yesterday. Not only does it support SSTP perfectly, but it works with Microsoft Authenticator for MFA. Fantastic!

Other great features include the ability to save multiple VPN profiles, great logging, on demand connection rules and automatic reconnection. It integrates beautifully into iOS. There are some useful security options for controlling TLS and MSCHAP versions and some handy controls for setting TCP/IP and DNS.

Overall, I’m so glad I found this app. Well worth the cost.

The stability is fantastic

If you need to use Remote Desktop to access for Windows-based work environment on your iPad then this app is perfect. I’m sure it does others things very well, but my primary use is to get Remore Desktop to be stable and stop kicking me off the VPN connection at work.

This software is rock solid. I’ve worked a full 8 hour day on my iPad while remotes into my work desktop. SSTP Connect never disconnected me and performed flawlessly the whole time.

It’s an easy 5 stars for me.

Worked with a Mac M1Pro and Windows VPN

Company migrated from Cisco AnyConnect to a Microsoft VPN. Found this app on the store, and installed it. The UI takes a little getting used to, but it was simple to set up and get working. I was a little concerned when I saw the other reviews, but figured I'd give it a try. Very pleased I did.
