It’s fun until you run out of credits and can’t generate any new ai art unless you pay. Then it says you can get free credits if you wait til after 6am. Well 6am (24 hours) has passed and no free credits. I’m sorry but I am not paying $12/month or subscribing and having issues cancelling the subscription for ai art that really isn’t that good. I thought this app would be useful in helping me get ideas for my own art. I am an artist and needed ideas for horror art. Well, the art produced wasn’t really that good. At one point it even showed me a blurry image as a “final result”, what am I gonna do with a blurred image of nothing? I don’t know how people are getting the really beautiful ai images from this. And why does it have to cost? I can understand charging maybe a one time fee of $5 for the entire app unlimited but why $12/month ($144/year)?? There’s only so much you can do with this app and only so many things you can think of to have the ai generate. Also if I type in a phrase and someone else types in a phrase, will we both have the same results? Who owns the copyright then? This claims you own the copyright to your creations but how can every piece be unique??? Cool app if it was free or cheaper. I mean at least explain why it needs to be a monthly subscription and not a one time low payment. Does the ai machine need to be continuously maintained? Does the ai have to be fed more information on a daily bases? What is it??
We apologize for your less than stellar experience with starryai. Please do reach out to support via the i icon in the top right corner of your app and then clicking the support link so that we might resolve the issue you are having. We also encourage you to join our Discord community where you will find members and moderators both willing to help, as well as many tips and tricks (and style guides) for perfecting your art. As far as identical prompts go, it is highly unlikely that you and someone else will have identical results even using the same prompt unless they somehow also have access to the exact seed you used. The ai runs on servers which do need to be maintained and periodically upgraded, and there is a team of employees, as well. I am unsure what your phrase was, but let's say you used something like "a dog and a cat". Your prompt should look something like ("a dog and a cat"; fluffy, smooth, sharp focus, crispy quality, medium shot, studio photography, studio lighting; Steve McCurry, Bruce Weber, Artstation, Pixiv; soft lighting, ethereal, glitzy, 16k, photorealistic, unreal engine, SF, CGSociety, HD, HDR). The ai needs more than just the topic to render good images - it needs the styles and artist/photographer styles to create the imagery we imagine. There are many articles and sites out there available on prompt engineering, and if you join our Discord Community, there are channels dedicated to prompt engineering, style guides, style exploration, and more. While the ai does not have to be fed information on a daily basis, there are new checkpoints made for ai and released to the public from time to time. Just recently, SD 2.0 was released - there is plenty of information available about it if you are interested and run a Google search. Our team does need to make sure that our app is constantly being improved and upgraded, as well as that we are running the latest checkpoints once they have been tested and understood. Hope this information is sufficient, but if not, please do reach out on our Discord community on the AI-Discussion channel or in any of the feedback channels. Thank you!
