What's more confusing than trying to figure out a stretching routine? What further complicates the matter is trying to decide just how long you should stretch for. 'Stretching' app simply takes out all of the guess work and gets right down to the matter of, well, stretching.
It has a solid routine with a timing system that tells you just how long the particular stretch will be. What else is its statistical information and user control over the timers.
This app is brilliantly made, with solid features and intelligent design and ability. Five stars all the way!
Not enough options
I downloaded this app because of all the good reviews but honestly I’m not sure why so many rant and raved about this app. Yes, it has a simple layout with example/instructions on each stretch with a built in timer you can adjust, but theres only a handful of stretches offered. Even buying the premium only gets you an additional 8 random stretches or so. I was looking for an in depth stretch app that gives multiple exercises for a focused area. Like a section for upper back or low back. These are just a bunch of random stretches thrown in an app. I don't see how they'd be particularly beneficial. Its better than nothing, but to really stretch an area, you need more than just one stretch move per body part.
Easy and Motivating
I’m 32 and was an athlete my whole life, but never saw the value of stretching. As I get older and my muscles and bones don’t hold up like they did when I was 18, I’m starting to realize the value of stretching. I’ve given up on stretching routines because I take on too much too fast and quit because I don’t see results quickly. This app has motivated me to be consistent with the easy stuff and have seen results little by little. I’d love for more stretches to be periodically added. I’ll still give it 5 stars for simplicity and function.
