This review is about the lite version. There was a single non-flashy banner ad on the bottom of all pages of the app, not too intrusive but it cut off the bottom of the images and blocked some things. The app loses stars because it doesn’t separate used/given stash from present stash, and expects the user to do a search bar search in order to filter library, patterns, or stash. This requires that the user think carefully about what search terms will work rather than simply checking boxes. A search for “fiber” did not produce my spinning fiber; “roving” produced “Done Roving” yarn and that’s it. It has forums, but it loads all the pages in one continuous scrolling stream of YEARS so good luck reaching the “reply to thread button.” I didn’t see any way to access any settings, even to control light/dark theme, which changed automatically. The app is clearly designed to make money but not much else. Stick to Stash2Go 1, or Ravit, as either has more functionality than this. I’m sad that there was no option to subscribe and receive continued support and development for Stash2Go 1. It had a lot more work put into it than this. It also has a lite version, so you have little to lose by checking it out.

I had Stash2Go Lite and got this hoping there would be improvements on an already pretty nice and user friendly Ravelry app. Overall I would say it’s pretty much the same in function, and what is different doesn’t make me want to switch. On this one, all of the information for the patterns is just in one page instead of on tabs like Lite, which I like. There are filters for most popular patterns, but you have to search for specific categories and even then only one or two. There is no option to favorite that I can see, only buy a pattern. I’m not a fan of swiping on the bottom to see your library and favorites. If you’re only looking to buy very popular patterns in one category or just access your projects/favorites/library, it would be fine. I’m sticking with Lite.

My first attempt at getting Ravelry on my phone....not worth it at all. I had no problem updating a project I was working on, but when I tried to look for all the patterns I had favorited to save, I could not find them. Search engine also really lacking, you can filter by things like popularity and difficulty but not yarn weight, techniques etc which is what I love about Ravelry’s site. The design of this app is not intuitive at all. I decided to spend $4.99 on Ravit and it is clearly superior - I can find all my stuff and the search engine appears to include all the info that I’m used to on Ravelrys webpage. Don’t even bother with this app even though it’s free, either spend a few bucks on Ravit or use Ravelry on a web browser app!

This is so less useful. I had to download a different app because this one just doesn’t perform a search well, pulled up items i didn’t want, can’t be sorted, and is just not user friendly. I’d rather log onto the ravelry website from my cell phone browser then use this app.

This app barely has any features and hardly does anything useful. Needs work and more features like what’s on the actual website. Speaking of which if I want to do something specific I have to go on the website bc I can’t do it on the app

Most of the time when I open the app, it has a blank screen. I’ve tried closing the app and reopening it and restarting my phone. It’s always a delight when the app actually shows anything besides “Patterns” at the top simply because it happens so rarely. Wish this app worked because I like to browse patterns.
