In basic statistics, students are required to calculate different statistical measures of a set of numbers. With this app, the following statistical measures will be made available to you after you enter a set of numbers:
- Number of terms
- Total sum
- Mean (Average)
- Population Standard Deviation (SD)
- Population Variance
- Sample Standard Deviation (n-1)
- Sample Variance (n-1)
Unlimited number of data points is supported. However, in this lite version, negative and decimal numbers are not supported. People should get the full version for negative and decimal number support.

This app has an easy to understand format which I like. It does not, however, meet my needs. It would be nice if it had the following functions: list the data in order from lowest to largest, calculate the value of quartile 1 and quartile 3 and the value of the interquartile range. If you wanted it to be really excellent it should have the function to create histograms, box and whisker plots etc. but the first few things I listed would be enough to satisfy me.
I am a senior in high school and in an intro to statistics class and this app is a life saver. I put a similar review on the upgraded version because it is well worth spending the 99 cents. I don’t understand why this app has such bad reviews, the reviews actually had me hesitant to use it, but I assure you this thing works great so give it a try if you’re needing to find mean, median, mode, standard deviations and more.
Hello, this calculator is amazing and of course there are some perks that are active once the application has been purchased. For example, decimals and negative numbers, as it was mentioned in the previous post. However, for being free I think it is a great app!!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
