StatsGuru for SPSS is aimed at students learning about statistics and contains information on a comprehensive list of typical statistical tests that college or university level students may be expected to know.
The main feature is the decision tree, this allows users to answer a series of questions about their data and discover the most appropriate test. Each test covered features a basic overview plus guides, using a practical example, on how to input data and run the analysis, what to look for in the output (interpretation) and an example write-up. StatsGuru for SPSS specifically covers versions 29, 28, 27, 26, 25 and 24 of IBM’s SPSS software.

I'm bad with SPSS so was happy that there was a helpful app. The step instructions seem good, pictures accompany them along with various labels that explain what things are. It has instructions for a lot of tests (I'm not familiar with some of them as I am still a student) but was disappointed that there was no MANOVA. As I have difficulties with MANOVAs and always have to consult notes to make sure I was doing it correctly, so I'm disappointed that there was no MANOVA but there were a few different ANOVAs. Also, I do not see any ANCOVAs. Perhaps they are there but with a less common name I'm not familiar with. The app seems good but won't receive 5 stars until those common tests are added. It does however have helpful "example of how to write report" on the bottom of the tests, which is very helpful.
Not bad-shouldn't have to pay for updated versions

This app is not bad-at the very least you can determine the best statistical calculation for you data or the correct one to use. However, I noticed there is now a separate app for SPSS 22 ( and now we are on v23) and it's another $1.99. Instead of making users buy updated apps to reflect updated SPSS versions, they should update the original app. It only makes sense and I am sure then you would be able to spread by word of mouth the utility of this app and thus more people would purchase it.

First, I must state that the SPSS app was interesting. The version is 1.0 and the present version is 22. The app does not worth the price$1.99 + tax. I recommend IBM SPSS if you need the latest version. And the most important idea is that you can input your own data. For those individuals who are working on their Bachelor's degree or any degree in college check out this book ( SPSS Basics Fourth Edition by Zealure C. Holcomb) (Techniques for a first course in statistics).The above book is very informative, and it teaches you step by step. Good luck everyone!!!

I've just played with it for a minute-I tested to see if it gave me the correct test to use (that I already knew the answer to). It was correct! The little walkthrough and results explanation is nice but could be more detailed, especially if this is to be helpful for new SPSS users.
Added updated guides for SPSS version 29 and the ability for users to delete their own items from the glossary tool.
