Steth IO Telehealth allows your smartphone to be used for remote physiological monitoring (RPM) and telemedicine when used with Steth IO hardware. Steth IO is a Class II FDA-Cleared device with the following indication for use: The StratoScientific Steth IO Stethoscope and Phonocardiogram Model 1.0 is intended for medical diagnostic purposes only. It may be used for the detection and amplification of sounds from the heart, and lungs with the use of selective frequency ranges. It has been tested for use on adults undergoing a physical assessment.

▪ Remotely monitor heart and lung sounds
▪ Collect symptoms reports at regular intervals
▪ Collect images for evaluation of leg edema
▪ Get regular reminders to complete physical examinations

Steth IO Spot app has telemedicine functionality independent of the medical device functionality for examination. Steth IO Spot device is only available for sale in the USA (510 k); hence the app functions as a medical device only in the USA and not in other countries.
