Okay.. So this app is not like a motivator or anything. Basically you have to open the app in order for it to remind you that you have pull-ups to do. And you have to manually enter the amount of pull-ups that you do. So it will ask you how many you can do.. And then it will multiply that by five and that will be the amount you have to do for the day. There are buttons you press when you have done one.. Five.. Etc.. Also on this app there is a video when he explains how to do all the different types of pull-ups.. I found this helpful.. Last but not least.. There are routines listed on the app.. This is a sample routine to do with your pull-ups.. I found this helpful.. Then he has another section with a whole bunch of other workout options.. This was helpful as well.. So I gave this a 5 star because I found the extra workouts and sample routines helpful and I incorporated those into my every day life. Yes I did see a 50%-100% increase. I wold recommend you do more pull-ups thought the day to increase you pull-ups. I hope you found this review helpful. - Matthew Serrano

From 16 to 21 pull-ups in 7 days.

I found this program in crunch time. I was desperately trying to figure out how to increase my pull-up numbers to get accepted into marine corps officer candidate school.

I tried this app out. It gave me the protocols and I followed for four days, took three off before my test, and boom. Five pull-ups more than I could a week before. 21 total reps. I’ve continued the full program but haven’t tested myself for a while. I can probably do even more now. I feel a lot stronger now.

The value is in the protocols, and the app itself is okay. It’s very handy, but it’s not the most pretty to look at; but who cares? It’s $2. That is two snickers bars, which will make you fat and out of shape. This $2 will push you to your limits, and who knows... it just might get you into the marine corps.

Tough Mudder

63 year old retired military, grandfather, prepped for Denver Tough Mudder 2015. I religiously followed LT (Seal) Smith's Navy Seal prep as well as the 30 Day pull-up/push-up programs. dropped 17 pounds, running 7:54 mile, 14 pull-ups, 73 push-ups. Most important, I feel I added many years to my future, to spend with my family.
