Description

David Stewart, Australia’s most renowned wildlife sound recordist, presents a unique bird call app that contains over 3800 high quality calls covering 725 species of birds. This comprehensive collection of bird calls is the result of over 40 years of sound recording and will be a valuable tool for anyone wanting to identify Australian birds.

The app contains a taxonomic and alphabetic listing of birds with the ability to switch between IOC 10.1 and Clements World taxonomies with a tap of a button.

There is a small thumbnail image for most species and a concise descriptive text for each species.

The calls display a map of the area that the sound was recorded and also an oscillogram representation.

We invite any comments or suggestions for this new and unique bird call app. We look forward to hearing from you at support@mydigitalearth.com
