Some fixes for iOS 17 and several new ways to create photo stickers that are compatible with the new object detection features in iOS!
- You can paste any image on your clipboard using the new "Past Image" menu option
- You can use the share sheet menu option "Create with Sticker Doodle" to share any image into the sticker creator
- You can drag and drop an image into the app to bring up the sticker creator
- Bugfix: An issue where "dragging stickers to reorder them would cause the other stickers to hide from view" is fixed

Flipping Hysterical Brilliance

I don’t know how I came across this sticker app, but it’s given me and my texts life. I’m a fan of dry humor and I love taking ridiculous pics of my cats in compromised positions and sending them randomly or as a reply to something totally unrelated. With the draw feature- the sky is literally the limit on what we can make a sticker. The only thing I’d like to see is the ability to save them to our gallery. Can we? I don’t think so, but that would be exceptionally rad.

OMG I figured out how to save to gallery! Just hit + then select then three dots in upper right then Save Image. And I’ve also learned how to make them without borders- just turn opacity all the way down on both border and background. Amazing.

Incredible App!!

I stumbled upon this app because I LOVE the iOS 16 feature to remove backgrounds from photos. I wanted to use those as stickers in iMessage, but if you use that feature and pop it straight into iMessage it only shares it as a photo rather than a sticker. That’s where I did some quick googling and found Sticker Doodle. My new process is to use the remove background feature in my photos app, bring that into notes, save the photo with the removed background to my camera roll, and then bring that into Sticker Doodle to create the sticker for iMessage. A feature I would suggest is the ability to bring the image with the removed background straight from Photos to Sticker Doodle. Moving it into Notes and saving the picture to my camera roll before importing it into Sticker Doodle just creates extra steps. Hopefully the ability to remove backgrounds in iOS 16 can be used to drag the subject straight into Sticker Doodle in the near future. Great app and I expect it will be my most used iMessage app. One other feature I would add is the ability to set default background and outline settings. I prefer not having them so I have to manually change the opacity to 0% for each sticker. Saving a default setting would make creating stickers just that much simpler.
