Downloads but won't open on mu iMac
I use Bitmoji on my iPad and iPhone, and the description of this app says ue Bitmoji on the Mac. So I downloaded it, and it won't open. Also, you cannot contact the developer; clicking on App Support brings up a essentially blank page with the word Holarc in the middle, which is not clickable.
I like Bitmoji on my iOs devices, so thought the ability to use it on my iMac would be worth $4.99. However, this is false advertising. But when I next opened mu iPad, guess what? The stickers for which I had just bought and thought I lost my $4.99 appeared. And I figured out a work-around to get them on my iMac. Each sticker was saveable to Photos. Since I am using iCloud, once I saved them they appeared on my iMac and I can now use them at least on Facebook, and anywhere else you can insert an attachment.
Does not work - no customer support
I purchased this over a week ago. I installed it and it would not recognize my sign in information, even though I have the app on my phone and it works fine. I contacted customer support and got an auto-response saying they would look into the issue and get back to me. I heard nothing for several days and followed up with them AGAIN. Another few days have passed and there has been no response. I feel like I totally wasted $5. It is a shame because the phone app works pretty well. This one appears to be not ready for prime time. Hopefully, they will eventually get back with me and I can update this on a more positive note.
It works for me.
I have Bitmoji on my iPhone. I bought this desktop app version to use with iMessage and my desktop app of Messenger. Once you sign in your account, it will import your stickers. It did take about 5 minutes to import them, but it’s on my computer now. The app appears on the computer’s pulldown menu from the top. You pick your sticker and drag it to where you type your message. It works for me. I don’t see what all the fuss is about.
