Stingray Music: 100s of DJs 12+

Very impressive

I have used nearly every music streaming service. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses. When one wants curated music that is not a glorified playlist (same basic songs over and over) then I have not found better than Stingray. The depth of the music catalog is very impressive. The variety of listening stations is awesome. I was using Slacker, they changed to something I didn’t want (Livex etc.) and I have used Pandora. Stingray outperforms in a couple ways 1. Variety of curated music 2. Music Audio quality vs Pandora is obvious. 3. Truly set it and forget it capabilities. Find a station and let it play. Come back the next day and play again and you won’t hear the same songs again and again like other streaming services. Just wanted to leave a review for anyone on the fence. Try the free version and then upgrade after you have found out for yourself how great this app really is. I am using premium on iPhone, iPad and Sonos speakers. Good stuff. p.s. I am surprised by the human curated drop in songs that are unexpected and serve as great music discovery. I knew Elvis had crossover hits into country, but as a former radio FM hits DJ and country DJ It’s nice to come across new songs. I have the feeling that those folks that have this service free with their TV service (I don’t) they probably don’t realize how good this actually is. And the price point is strong compared to the others. Good job 😎👍

Impressive. I’m hooked!

I only learned about this app last night when I got an email from my tv provider who added this service. I downloaded the app this morning and have been listening to it ever since while browsing through all of the channels. There are an insane number of channels (even within a sub-category) and I love that I’m hearing songs that weren’t the top hits of the time, something I’ve been getting really sick of with another paid subscription satellite provider. So far it’s been great! Unlimited skips is awesome!!!

The only problem I’ve been having is trying to authorize my app through the tv. For some reason it just won’t authorize, no matter what channel I select. Maybe it’s because my tv provider literally switched to this service today. I will try again tomorrow. If I can get this to authorize, I’m considering dumping my paid satellite subscription.

I wish you offered “clean” versions of channels.

Btw, the audio quality is great! I have new speakers that I’ve set up as left and right audio and I can hear every detail!

I really do enjoy Stingray music very much. It has variety of music to choose from to be in the mood you would like to be in. From Quiet Music to Relaxing Music to Club Music. You can choose any type of music you would like to listen to. To be Honest, I listened to Stingray music on my tv on the music channels. Now I can listen to Stingray Music wherever I go. I would suggest it to other people as well. They have New Music everyday and you might hear some of your Favorites.
