Very handy, but could be better!

The EASE OF USE factor is wonderful! Getting the latest information on a stock is a Big Plus too.

BUT the interface is frozen to three panes, full information on a stock takes needless time that wastes your time. It needs a clear change to its interface that is displayed in a with a screen-wide pane for a ONE STOP DISPLAY of a stock’s data - listing of shares when purchased, their value change, purchase cost with dates, in other words a comprehensive screen. Just doing this with the far right pane that contains the chart could probably work. AT THE MOMENT ITS A SECONDARY STOCK APP with Yahoo’s my primary.

Not user friendly, clunky, confusing

This app has one good feature that the apple stocks app doesn’t have - you can add your cost basis and number of shares. However, they make it so clunky and difficult to actually add that info that I’m actually debating with myself whether it’s easier to just pull out a calculator and figure it myself. If you have a static portfolio that you will never change, it’s probably worth spending the 30+ tedious minutes it will take you to get the info into the app, but if you’re trading regularly, forget about it. While it does link to my Fidelity account and pull my holdings automatically, it doesn’t pull all of the info, so I have to enter everything manually anyway. There are so many confusing screens and options that it looks cluttered, and the icons and options are not very clear, which means I end up wasting lots of time clicking into screens that I’m not looking for. The Apple stocks app is so easy to use, why can’t someone just copy that and add a couple of features and call it a day?

Great app... few tweaks could make it even better

Great app that works well and is very simple to use. The instant alert feature is awesome! I think a few simple changes would make the app even better - for instance, on the main stock tracker screen, it would be great if the user had the ability to add customized columns (e.g. 52 week high/low, div yield, etc.). Seeing this on one page, without having to click into each stock to see the details, would be great. Nonetheless, really good app for tracking a broad list of stocks.
