Here’s what I wrote before. “Lots of great stock info, all you need to make good trading decisions. Works for me.” Now. While the app still has good and useful information, someone, in their infinite wisdom, decided to include ads. I’m not against ads but these ads are disruptive, persistent and block the whole page, interfering in what the user is trying to do, in the middle of what they’re trying to do. Nothing good comes out of frustrating the user, such as this downgraded review. A better option might be to place the ad when the user opens the app, or upon closing it. Another option would be smaller ads at the bottom of the page, or at the top, which might be time limited, or at least out of the way. Hope the developers pay attention to these reviews. As for me, I’ll be looking for an app that is useful but less intrusive. Note. I changed my rating from 5 stars to 3. I’d like to give 3.6 or 3.7 to be fair. Hope the devs fix it.

Much improved. Ads are visible but not intrusive any longer. Still has lots of useful stock info. I’m happy again. Back to 5 stars. Hope it works for all.

Substantial App with loads of Market Intelligence

I have given up on the app…the money and time I invested in it continues and the more I depend on it the more frustrating it is. I have gone several days depending on other resources (that consistently work without rebooting, clearing memory, etc) and feel much more relaxed. I have a 9 month old iPhone 12 Pro Max and no problems with any other app but this. The developer has shown me that 97% of the time or something this app works, it feels like it works for me 3% of the time and crashes the other 97%. Now even the extreme steps like flushing memory or rebooting the phone don’t guarantee app stability. The developer seems like a stand up guy and I have appreciated his responses but the problem is far from being resolved.

If you are a hobbyist, primarily invest long term, or data isn’t crucial, give it a try because it will probably meet your needs. Otherwise you should be aware that aside from stability there is no afterhours data (except for last transaction) and without upgrading to real time data for $5 more a month more you really can’t depend on the information. Despite paying for lifetime, another $60 a year for data for an app that is unreliable is like using hope as a trading strategy! I am moving on and dumping this baggy.

Really wish I hadn’t been patient thinking the app return policy was 90 days. Let my loss be your gain - there are plenty of other fish in the sea.

Used to be good

This app used to be very good, but then greed took over. Others have covered the ridiculousness of ads, I’ll talk about other issues. The description lists many options for in-app purchases, but only 3 seem to be currently available, and they are laughable. $199 per year? For what? Microsoft 365 is $70 when not on sale and includes at least 9 apps and a terabyte of cloud storage. Also, the developer used to address bugs promptly, but not any more. For example, the widget and the app show you different data. For me, the widget shows the correct daily gain, but not the correct portfolio total value, because the cash and money market funds are not included. That’s misleading. The app gets the value correctly, but the daily gain includes the total value of all money market funds every single day! To clarify, the total value of money market investment (like VUSXX) is shown as gain each day. That has been reported several times over the past few months. Finally, and maybe most importantly, this app tracks you needlessly. Look at the data used to track you across other apps and data linked to you: location, identifiers, usage data, and diagnostics. I understand that you need to make money, but terrible, intrusive ads and spying is not the way. Set reasonable prices for premium features, go back to putting in work when needed, and people will subscribe.
