Stock Ticker 4+

Works as described.

Great app. One of few (free) stock ticker apps that show stocks in Mac Statusbar. Easy to add and remove stocks. Has few views such as normal and compressed. Note that the current version does not scroll (which I dont like anyways) and as such you cannot have too many stocks selected. I would give five stars when the developer also adds ability to see $ amount changed in addition to % changed in both normal and compressed vew.

Good news. There is a new release 0.6.0 coming out today with support for seeing $ amount changed.

It works!

This app works exactly the way it should, and is really the only product on the app store that does what it does. It's extremely helpful to keep an eye on the market throughout the day while doing other tasks.

I think the only thing that could make it better is a higher refresh rate. Sometimes it misses big swings in the market because it only updates every minute or so. But this is of course a limitation of the data server, and as a product with no subscription requirement it works exceptionally well.

Great App - Great Communication

First off, the app is great. It does exactly what I was looking for. I can watch my stocks and customize the layout and data points. The ability to change the colors of each ticker variable has turned out to be an excellent feature. Nice to be able to keep track of my portfolio on the fly at a glance - less checking my phone.

I've emailed the developer a few times and he has been incredibly responsive and great to work with. Excellent customer service in an age where it's harder and harder to find. Many thanks!
