Have you ever looked at an approaching storm and wondered - "just how bad is that weather?" Or you're far from home and you want to "see" what the weather is like back home. With Storm View, you can put yourself in the middle of any weather event any where in the continental US and see it in amazing 3D augmented reality. Just hold up your device like you were taking a video and see the intensity of the weather come to life.
Storm View turns the US National Weather Service's weather radar picture into an 3D model that you can see through your iOS device's camera. And with a range of about 40 miles, you can see what is down the road, day or night.
******* THE LOCAL VIEW ONLY WORKS IF YOU ARE IN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES OF AMERICA *******

This one of the best radar apps ever today I just found that you can add clouds. I love that you can take what color you dont want out I am confused about the blue box cause it looks like snow instead of clouds but change is not needed cause this app is great
Really a cool app/idea I was wondering if we would get an update!
This app Ooooze's cool factor - it's really a one of a kind app I haven't seen anything else like it and for that reason alone it's worth the download
Upgraded to an iPhone XS Max and it doesn’t work anymore. I actually haven’t used it for several months, so I really don’t know when it stopped working...whether it was the upgraded phone or an upgraded iOS. It crashes on my iPad. Is this going to get fixed or is this another app a developer will abandon? I’ve had several of those kind.
If you don’t intend to fix the app please let us know.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
