Description

Regardless of format limits, wirelessly stream any local videos, music, and photos (not web content) to Roku Streaming Players, Roku Streaming Sticks, and Roku TVs without installing additional channels!

No longer you have to spend hours converting the files to “right” formats before playing them with a USB drive. This app allows you to beam your media content directly from your Mac to the big screen, wirelessly! Simple as that!

To see the app in use, please watch a little demo video at http://bit.ly/2xFIeap .

* Cast Videos, Music & Photos without Format Limits
You can easily cast local videos, music, and photos with Stream to Roku. Just select the file that you want to stream, and you can enjoy it on the big screen in no time!

* Playlist Customization
Playlist is also supported in the app. You can throw a whole bunch of files into the app and create a playlist, so that you can enjoy your beloved media content non-stop.

* Playback Control
You can use the app to change videos, songs and images; play, pause, and stop the playback. Fast-forward and rewind are also available.

* Auto Device Discovery
Stream to Roku automatically discovers supported devices connected to the same network as your Mac. No configuration needed, no hassle!

Stopped working after a few months

Everything was fine with the application until one day it decided to keep returning to the roku home screen even after the cast had succeeded. Not sure what the problem is as no one seems to have an answer. Definitely disappointed.

Does what it says

Love it! Downloaded this because there aren't any good Christmas movies on Netflix/Prime this year. Now I can watch all my movie files with my parents through their Roku.

Works well. Two negative points: you can't scroll through the film, have to use fast forward. Also can't drag and drop files into the player, have to "open files" and find your file to add to the queue. Otherwise, I love it.

does what i need it to do.. Simple and easy

Great app, and easy to use. verey clean and simple too. Only issue I had was that my playlist will not do continuous play from one video to the next. I have to go back to my macbook to start the next video.

Using Roku Stick and macOS 10.3

Hopefully that feature will be added.
