Streety is the modern day neighborhood watch. As a free app service, Streety creates a network amongst neighbors using shared outdoor cameras. Neighbors can connect their cameras and easily share video in the Streety app, providing them with a bigger picture of what goes on in their neighborhood. Whether it's checking up on kids, watching out for your home, cars, or packages, or preventing crime in the neighborhood – Streety offers the tools neighbors need to work together making it easier to answer common questions and solve problems. Further, Streety is for everyone! You don’t need to own an outdoor camera to get the benefits of Streety. Just download the app and you can get all the connected benefits together with your neighbors.

With Streety, privacy is paramount – every sharing request requires the camera owner’s approval before a video is shared. Neighborhoods are defined in yards, not miles, to make sure that the neighbors appearing in your Streety circle are actual neighbors.

Streety helps neighbors watch out for each other to protect and secure the things that matter most.

(Updated) Streety not user friendly

My location is locked to a lake, even after logging in it won’t update my location to my address very frustrating please advise!
(Update) issue resolved! Not stuck in the middle of a lake lol! I know the apps still new but still sadly I’m the only one showing up in my neighborhood and I know others have Vivint systems it would be nice to have that populated, where I could send an email through the app to them and invite them to both use and share cam feeds!

Thank you for submitting this feedback. We are close to releasing an update that will allow you to update your location if you ever move or accidentally select the wrong location for your home. For the time being if you open the app and shake your device it will pop up a screen where you can submit a bug or feature request. Please do that and type in the notes section that you need your address updated. We will have our developers manually reset your profile and then you will be able to select your location again.

Fairly user friendly, barrier is WAY too small

I'm not sure why someone decided to set the barrier the way it is. It needs to be completely adjustable by the customer and pretty much unlimited. Right now it doesn't even cover my subdivision let alone our sister divisions or surrounding neighborhoods. True community security will take a community to band together and watch, help. I ask that the barrier be made adjustable and fairly unlimited. What if I was watching a family member's home from a far for them, or wanted to check their area for issues?
Thank you for listening and helping

Thank you for your feedback. One very important aspect; let the customer decide who to share our cameras with, regardless of how far away they are. Don't push a specific agenda or limitation on us like we often see Apple do.
Thanks Mike

Developer Response ,

Thank you for taking time to submit feedback. You've mentioned several things that we have taken into consideration. Stay tuned for additional features and discussions around the size of the neighborhood radius. Our intent is to create an intimate group of neighbors similar to those you would interact with on a regular basis, yet not too large to involve other's who you may not know as well.

Perimeter unhelpful

As others have said, the perimeter being preset is a big fault to this app. I live in the back of a very large subdivision and only 1/3 of it is seen on here. My home backs up to a park and other subdivisions, as well as a freeway nearby. I see more of other people’s neighborhoods, and even on the other side of the freeway than I do of my own neighborhood. I’m trying to get others in my neighborhood to join but it still won’t help much if I can access it.

I think more helpful would be a small perimeter always covered. Then for those in a much larger perimeter you can ask go be “neighbors” would be more appropriate. That would allow those of us in this type of setting to connect with others we consider to be neighbors.
