Really good if you want to stick with keepass compatibility
The main reason I got this app is that it is the first password manager app that can send me totp & motp codes as well as passwords. Its a bit bare, but doesn't send my data over the cloud, doesn't want ad-infinitum subscription feeds, and uses version 4 of the KDBX password format with built-in gpu cracking resistance via the argon (hashing in 2019) library instead of the old and crufty pbkdf2. I also like the ability to use touch id on IOS or mac, and the ability to use keyfiles (a keepass normality).

Hi! Thank you very much for this review, I'm really glad you find the app useful, and I hope to work to add more features and make it less bare! All the best, -Mark
Latest update disables search
The latest update disables search and the app forces you to pay a $15 in-app-purchase to reenable search.
I have upgraded to KyPass for less than half the price. KyPass also does not have in-app purchases.
UPDATE: The vendor responded that the search facility was a time-limited premium feature of the free App Store version of Strongbox. He maintains that the user is notified of this regularly, but I did not see it and the App Store description does not mention that search is a time-limited feature that you will later have to pay $15 to re-enable.
The only mention of the search feature that I can see in the App Store description is: "Search your entire set of passwords and secrets instantly and powerfully, with deep search."
Although KeePass is free and has very good search functions, I don't mind paying a little for Mac software that can read KeePass files, as is evident by my purchase of KyPass. However, StrongBox is twice as expensive and its "Freemium" costs and behavior are not made clear up front, so the user can end up invested in a product that they later feel coerced to purchase.
I'm disappointed in the vendor's response, which seems angry and personal. I suggest either stating the time-limited feature costs up front in the App Store (e.g. Premium vs. Free) or selling the app directly in the App Store and avoiding in-app purchases.

Hi VanSmith, very sorry to see this review. This has always been the case, the App is Freemium. That means there is a Free and Pro version. This is messaged up to 3 months in advance, regularly, so this shouldn't have come as a surprise... The Pro version supports me as an independent developer... I'm not sure what more I can do. Happy you found another app that works for you, but I think the one star review is pretty petty and extreme. -Mark
Finally a version of the source forge password safe for the Mac
I have been using source forge password safes for years on my windows box. When I slowely migrated to the Mac, iPhone and iPad, I also migrated my password safe. There have been applications for the iphone and ipad for a long time, however nothing for the mac itself. I was very happy when I saw this product come to the appstore. And the best part it did not disapoint.
The prodcut works well, and with the recent addition of the Mac finger print reader, it makes it even easier to use. If you have any questions customer support is very response too.
Overall a big win for Mac users.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
