All mamas need this!

I am NOT a fan of working out and very easily get discouraged when I finally give it a try. That being said, I knew how important training for my birth was and I turned to the Bloom Method to help me learn about my changing body. I admit I didn't do many of the actual cardio-type workouts, but the foundational principles of how to functionally move and support my body were so so so helpful. Belly-pumping throughout the day was a simple way for me to keep checking in on my core and I could really feel the difference. The concepts taught not only helped me go about my daily activities safely while pregnant, but they absolutely prepared me for my daughter's unmedicated birth. I better knew how to breathe (diaphragmatically) and was in touch with the muscles needed in my core to deliver my baby. I also enjoyed the stretching videos on days I didn't feel like working out, yet needed some movement to relax my body. Their coaches' approach with gentle guidance and encouragement to listen to your own body and what it needs at that time is SO refreshing, and it really does allow me to stick with exercises I would otherwise give up on in other programs. I do have a goal to get back into exercising regularly and utilize the growing library of workouts they have available through their app/website. I really do recommend the Bloom Method and Studio Bloom to all my pregnant and mom friends. Thanks for being a wonderful resource!

Critical after losing my son to stillbirth

I’m an American living in Copenhagen, and lost my son in October; he was stillborn at full term. On top of our devastating loss, I’m also postpartum for the first time, and have lost so much core strength and fitness, and have some diastasis, even though I stayed active throughout the pregnancy. In Copenhagen, there are plenty of postpartum exercise classes, but everyone brings their baby. You can imagine how hard that would have been, being the only one there without her child. I downloaded both Studio Bloom and E&E to try to regain my strength in the privacy of my home. I prefer Studio Bloom - the verbal guidance is specific and so necessary for me to figure out exactly what engaging my deep core means and feels like. I also prefer having a guided video/audio workout, since I’m less likely to slack off between exercises that way. It keeps me on track and within the time, which is always reasonable. I also like that there are programs to follow, so I don’t have to think about what tomorrow’s exercise will be. I just show up and do what the app says to the best of my ability, and I’m much, much stronger now at 3 months postpartum. I can participate in regular exercise classes now, so I do both those and Studio Bloom, since I’m still working on getting stronger and hopefully prepared to try again.

The best postpartum healing program!

I have loved using this program for both pregnancy and postpartum. I’ve had two kids and consist let come back to Bloom to help maintain core performance when pregnant and heal postpartum when I had DR. The one-on-one coaching is what has set this app apart and has finally helped continue my healing when I was starting to plateau. The one-on-one coaching has been the most supportive and encouraging process and has launched my body into feeling like it’s finally getting back to normal. I’ve tried another well known program but was always discourage with the the lack of coaching (or you pay extra for it) and the amount of time it takes to do their workout sit complete their program. This one is so much more accessible and provides so much more. There’s prenatal, post natal, and pregnancy workouts related to core or specific muscle groups or full body, weighted, body weight, or cardio. They also have a host of programs specific to healing specific pain points postpartum and also mindfulness and yoga style workouts too. They even have a “move through grief” program for mamas walking through grief. And thought it’s not a major focus, they still provide nutrition plans and coaching as well. Hands down the best app for postpartum healing and the one I always recommend to friends.
