A groundbreaking, in-depth exploration of the movement and flexibility of the human body, Study of Pose features 1,000 unique poses, captured from 100 angles in 100,000 high-resolution images that users can rotate a full 360 degrees or pinch and zoom to examine from all perspectives in great detail.
These stunning, 3D, black-and-white photographs showcase the unique collaboration between international supermodel Coco Rocha—“The Queen of Pose” whose uncanny ability to strike distinctive, camera-ready poses at an astounding speed has earned her international fame throughout the fashion industry—and world-renowned photographer Steven Sebring.
Study of Pose shows Rocha in a simple white leotard striking a myriad of poses—theatrical, vibrant, elegant, dramatic, and unlike anything the fashion or art worlds have seen before. The result is a gorgeous and arresting look at the potential of the human form.
Also included is a foreword by fashion visionary Jean Paul Gaultier and introductory comments on this one-of-a-kind project from both Rocha and Sebring.

Good start but glitchy
It's a good start but it has many glitches, like the bios have a dark covering when you begin to scroll down and some of the poses are not listed correctly, when you go from the index to the large view, and you always to have wifi to get to the larger views. For the large size of the app you would think that their wont be a need for the wifi. Outside of that I love this app for posing reference, it's better than the book.
A Work of Art
I have many 3-D posing books and CD ROMs, but this is in a class by itself. Ms. Rocha is just an extraordinary combination of dancer and model. The still photography, as it appears in the printed book, is exemplary, but having a chance to rotate each of the 1,000 poses a full 360° takes this to another level beyond the beyond. Beauty is truly around every of the 360,000 corners here! Yes, many of the poses are not the common poses you see everywhere, but I find that a testament to Ms. Rocha's creativity and talent as a dancer. Her years of dance study is obvious in the way she holds every inch of herself in each pose. Bravo! The world needs new poses and here is an endless treasure trove of them. Did I mention that Ms Rocha also happens to be one of the world's most sublimely beautiful creatures? That certainly is an added bonus given how much of her there is to look at here. Get it while you can- This is a classic!
A good supplement to an artist's anatomy library
So, really as far as the functionality and practicality of the app as an app, it gets 2 stars. But the content is fabulous! The content is 5+ stars!
We are a husband and wife team of artists: I (the wife) do illustration and painting and my husband does 3D. We both were really excited about this app to have the ability to turn the model around in her poses 360 degrees. That is the best and most useful part of the app. It's a wonderful idea and the poses are dynamic, spontaneous, and out of the box. They are a bit too avant-garde, perhaps, to have this be one's only anatomy reference, but it is nonetheless an excellent reference.
