Description

Stuff is built to help you organize your life and achieve your goals. It can be as simple as a list of to-dos, and as complex as lists organized into spaces of your life - full of dependencies, deadlines, tasks, and plans on when to accomplish them. I built Stuff to keep track of the dozens of todos that come to my mind on a daily basis. It’s built to help clear your mind and make stuff actionable.

Dependencies
Dependencies allow you to mark tasks as dependent on other tasks. When a task has a dependency, it smartly hides itself away, waiting to become available when it's relevant. This means that you only see the stuff that's immediately available to check off your list, but you also have the freedom of brain-dumping into your list without worrying about clutter.

Shared Lists
Don't keep it all for yourself - Shared Lists make it easy to share tasks and lists with teammates, classmates, family members, or anyone.

Adventure Log
The Adventure Log carefully notes all your completed tasks and actions so you can go back in time and see what was done on any given day. Your Adventure Log can be filtered by tag, space, or item type, so you can get an overview of your work in different areas of life.

“Getting Things Done” Method
Stuff is also built around key GTD principles to best empower “doers” to stay focused, be productive, and achieve their goals.

Other Features
Tasks can be assigned plans, or set to Someday if you know you want to do it eventually, but aren’t sure when. They can also be given Deadlines, so you can separate when you’re planning on doing something from when it needs to be done. Repeating tasks, list templates, tags, and more allow you to work in the way that makes the most sense to you.

Meet the Developer
Stuff was built by me, Austin, an indie developer and a one-person team. I’ve always loved the productivity space, but despite trying dozens of apps on the App Store, I couldn’t find a To-Do List that fit my needs. I wanted something that provided both a simple interface and powerful features like dependencies and repeating lists. So I started teaching myself how to code and spending all my free time making “Stuff”, the to-do list of my dreams.

Stuff uses the Apple's Standard Licensing Agreement found here: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Very thoughtful touches, well worth it

You can tell there is a lot of care put into the design. Little bits of feedback get addressed quickly and stuff like the selector to choose a recurring period is obviously catered to tasks better than your generic calendar app. Pushes you into an actual framework like leaving stuff you will handle later in the Someday category, or organizing related tasks into spaces.

If the ability to tether a task reminder to a location gets added like Apple reminders I think I'm abandoning my other apps..

Prioritizing User Experience

This app has clearly taken many pains to refine the user experience to near perfection. The app is expertly crafted, the design is beautiful and satisfying, and it just makes me feel good every time I use it. Thank you for making such an amazing app!

Really clean to do list all

Pre ordered this app and I must say it’s super clean! My favorite feature was the ability to import my reminders from Apples Reminders App. So happy I didn’t have to manually add those tasks myself. Made the transition to giving this app seamless.
