SubAssistant checks your Absence Management® (formerly Aesop) account for new, available jobs 24x7. When a job is found, SubAssistant instantly sends an app, text message, email, or desktop notification with the job's details and a direct link to accept the job to you, wherever you are!

Get only the notifications you want with notification filters and schedules. Filters let you specify the types of job assignments you're not interested in accepting, so SubAssistant doesn't bother you with notifications for those jobs. Only interested in working half-day assignments? Filter out full-day assignments and never receive a notification for full-day jobs again. Notification schedules let you set the times you want to receive notifications so you can quiet the noise when you're sleeping or busy.

We've changed (almost) everything! IMPORTANT: You must migrate your account to the new system before you can sign into the new app. Check your email for a migration link from us or sign into your account on the website. Once you've migrated your account, you'll see a new look and feel for the SubAssistant app. Additionally, you'll find new features such as: filter out job notifications you don't want, filter out half- or full-day jobs, view upcoming and past job assignments, and more.

Why the updates? ,

No longer working on iPhone X

I have used this app, over the other 2 apps for substitutes for several years. I can no longer accept jobs unless I am connected to internet. It will not work anymore if I am on my own WiFi, It is necessary for a job app to work wherever I am. I get the pop up that I must be logged in to accept the job.
By the time I log into Aesop, the job is long gone. The only jobs I accept through the app now are when I am at home. I will be moving over to Jobulator.

Please contact us at support@subassistant.com for support. An Internet connection is required to receive job notifications and accept jobs (this is true for all apps). However, SubAssistant never sends you to log into your Absence Management account.

Do NOT do it!!!

I got this app 3 months ago and after constantly getting the phone calls to sub before getting the notifications on my app I cancelled. Imagine my surprise when my account was charged $8! So I cancelled again and then bam next month charged again. There is NO contact number to call. There is nothing I can do but write this post. I was just charged again and cancelled again and this time I waited and checked over and over again on my emails waiting for a correspondence saying it was indeed cancelled and I got nothing. So I went back online and see that it is still active!!!!!! What kind of show are y’all trying to put on here!? I want my money back!! Someone needs to get in touch with me asap!

Not sure.

So my previous review was bashing this app for the chronic "no longer available" message after seconds of receiving the available job notification. I figured out that it does that when you've already have a job scheduled for that day. Why it notifies you when you already have a job for that same day is beyond me. Other than that, This app is great! But not sure how I feel paying 8 bucks a month for it? So I'm gonna try the other apps free trial and see which one I like the best.

Hi Lunova, thanks for your review. SubAssistant will notify you of any job that appears on your any of your substitute accounts. If you have multiple accounts, you'll still get job offers from one system if you're booked in another. If you have only one substitute account with one system but are still receiving job offers for days you're booked, then the issue is with the substitute system as it is not supposed to offer jobs to you for days you're already booked.
