VinnerVi Subtitles is a Safari extension for watching foreign-language video with AI-translated, bilingual subtitles. It adds your translation directly to the video player while keeping the original caption visible, so you can follow the video and learn from the source language at the same time.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Install VinnerVi and enable it once in Safari Settings > Extensions.
2. Open a supported video page in Safari.
3. Choose VinnerVi from Safari's toolbar, select your language, and start translating.
Your original subtitles and translation appear together on the player, synced to playback. Revisit a translated video and VinnerVi can reload its locally cached subtitles without using more credits.
WATCH ON THE SITES YOU ALREADY USE
VinnerVi supports YouTube, Crunchyroll, Viki, Bilibili, TikTok, X, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Niconico, and 50+ hand-verified video sites. It works with video you can already play in Safari; it does not download, re-host, unlock, or bypass access controls for video content. Site and video compatibility can vary with each platform's player and available captions.
BUILT FOR BILINGUAL WATCHING
• See the original caption and your translation together on the video player.
• Translate into 30+ languages, including English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, and more.
• Streaming Mode translates available subtitle tracks on services such as Crunchyroll and Viki while you watch.
• When a video already has captions, VinnerVi translates that subtitle track. When it does not, VinnerVi can transcribe the audio with AI before translating it.
• View completed and active translations in the in-app history.
CREDITS AND PLANS
New accounts include 50 free credits. A video with an existing caption track uses about 1 credit per minute. A video that needs AI transcription first uses about 3 credits per minute. Credits are charged only for completed translations; failed jobs are refunded.
Need more time? Choose a one-time credit top-up or Basic Monthly in the app. Prices are always shown before you buy. Your VinnerVi account and credit balance work across Mac, iPhone, and iPad when you sign in with Apple.
