A little application for creating subtitles as text objects for use in Final Cut Pro X and DaVinci Resolve, and other programs that will read the fcpxml format.
The program will read a .txt og .srt file and generate a fcpxml file that you import in FCPX or Resolve.
In Final cut pro x you import xml, and a event with a project will be imported, this project has a gap with connected text objects. Now you only have to take your movie and drag/replace that gap, and your ready to go...
You can also get individual italic for the lines as well.
Added support for simple .srt (no formatting)
Ratings and Reviews
The resulting fille from my srt is a fcpxml slash some other app type of file name that shows invalid on FCPX. Tried different paths, no result. Paid $5 to waste two hours. This is not a working app, as is.
horrible + not compatible
tried ever export format and setting in fcp … every single version was rejected by fcp
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! You’d think apple vetted these apps … but they dont
when I tried to report it to them .. didn’t make a difference

Hi Missy Galore, could you send me the file you tried. Maybe I can help you with the problem... the file needs to be formatted in certain way for FCPX to import the fcpxml...
