Description
A sun for your Mac! See either the time of the next sunrise or sunset, or the time until the next sunrise or sunset. Options include showing the sun in the menubar only, Dock only, or both. The built-in database of 64,000 world cities means you'll find accurate sun info for almost any location on Earth. You can also set the app to update your location automatically.
You can also see the length of day and night. You can choose to show times in 12 or 24 hour format and you can also open the app automatically at login.

Good - clean up the menubar
This is the only program I've found that will simply display time until sunset in the menubar. Great! Nice for that afternoon run/ski.
But why all the junk in the menubar? Right now mine says *| -1:01, where * is a sun icon, | is a down arrow (for sunset), and then a space, then what I want. I know that it's daytime. And the sun means nothing. It should just say (or optionally say), -1:01. It's kind of 1.0ey.
Does exactly enough..good
Shows sunset/sunrise and time left to either/both events. It’s surprisingly hard to find a simple sunlight/daylight remaining app (most apps are heavy/redundant weather apps), this app does this simple job nicely..
Great, little utility
Does exactly what it says it will do. The only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because you cannot disable sunrise info—I don’t need it whatsoever. Should they add an option to disable it, I will add the other star.
