I think the app needs more security, which is not the banks fault! The imminent threat of cyber security that appears to happen on a high frequency. Perhaps it is coming from greedy consumers or maybe from a terrorist network. Wherever it comes from is somewhat arbitrary, but I do think Sunrise banks needs back up so the criminals lose and go to the clink. These alleged criminals are interfering with progress and we simply cannot have that.
Surprised by the low ratings
I’ve used this banking app for a couple years and I love it. I read that someone was unable to use the mobile deposit app—well I’ve used it twice this week, so it definitely works. You can use biometrics to log in, which is convenient. I just wish they had a way to raise your spending limit on this app—they always bump mine to $300 and it’s frustrating when I’m at places like IKEA and I can’t buy a bed because it’s over my daily limit and I can’t call support because apparently they work the same hours as the actual bankers... so I have to wait until Monday to buy the bed (or many other items that have been over $300). But the app is great!
The absolute worst banking app I’ve ever seen
This app is by far the most rudimentary, basic and frustrating financial app I’ve ever worked with in my life. They require you to change your password every 90 days, you cannot reuse the same password and it has to have a combination of letters and symbols and numbers. If you enter it incorrectly three times, it locks you out and requires you to change your password. Not a completely unrealistic expectation but requiring you to change it every 90 days and never reuse the same one creates a lot of problems at once you’ve had to change at 10 or 12 times. Frustrated every time I use it and makes me want to go back to Wells Fargo.
