Sunsynk Logger App has been developed to help you get the most out of your Sunsynk inverter.
It has been specially tailored for the customers and installers.

Using the Sunsynk Logger app with your Sunsynk inverter gives you complete remote control of your system from anywhere in the world!

Real-time Monitoring – The Sunsynk Logger App lets you monitor multiple stats such as energy generation, battery status, grid, and load statistics.

Change Settings Remotely - You can control all settings on the inverter from your mobile phone or PC without having to visit the inverter in person.

Sharing Plant Connection - Customers can share their connection with their installer, permanently or temporarily.
If they need help with any settings or configuration on their system, or if the installer needs to run any diagnostic checks, there is no need to visit site. The customer can share their plant connection and the installer can run any diagnostics / make any configuration changes from their own account.

Octopus Agile Intergration - UK users can use the Live Price feature, using this you can look at the live prices provided by Octopus Energy and amend your charge and discharge prices with those figures in mind.

Reporting – Users can generate detailed reports and export them to a PDF file. You can generate reports an that day, week, month, and year, or you can create custom reports.

Events / Alerts – The Sunsynk Logger app will notify you if there are any events such as any warnings or faults or if there is any sudden loss in power.

Needs much improvement

While having this app is better than having no app at all, the significant delay in real time data as well as the app frequently not working or glitching is a real problem. The overall data setup and design is not the most user-friendly or view-friendly, especially changing settings like the timers… It requires you to do quite a bit of hunting to find what you are looking to change. It does seem that each update is improving some of the information available, but app updates typically causes another bug or glitch almost without fail. I think the app has a lot of potential but a long way to go.

Terrible app

This has to be one of the most poorly designed apps for iPhone that I’ve ever seen. It looks like it was designed for a large computer screen and squashed into the smaller iPhone screen area.
That’s not the worst though. The Wi-Fi dongle on the Sunsynk equipment apparently sends data to a server and then back to the user. Unfortunately, there appear to be frequent problems with the server and as a result, the user has no way of knowing what the battery levels are at any given time. This could be remedied by sending data to both the server and the user simultaneously. There should also be more frequent refresh rates.

Hopefully this app can be redesigned and improved in future.

Good product, terrible service

This product has been installed, plant created, installer can see it on their side, but despite the installer logging multiple requests to fix the fact that I cannot see anything on the website or App (no plant, no data, just a blank screen), no one responds or fixes the issue.
Sunsynk, is horrible and not a product you can rely on!!!
