The Adventures of Super Stretch app was developed by Jessica Rosenberg, an industrial designer and 500 E/RYT national yoga educator, plus an incredible team of creative app developers. Jessica’s love for yoga, inspiration from her students and desire to offer children accessible wellbeing tools helped bring Super Stretch to life.
The app was created for everyone - young to old, layman and educators - to teach the immeasurable benefits of yoga. Yoga is a powerful physical discipline. In the ten years of teaching thousands of wellness classes, Jessica has seen incredible transformations. An estimated 17.5 million adults practice yoga. As of 2007, there were over 1.5 million children practicing yoga.
The scientific community is coming out with more and more research statistics on how yoga is helping children with issues like obesity, diabetes and asthma. And yoga has been proven beneficial in teaching positive cognitive skills for a variety of different special needs populations, from physical disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders. The physical practice of yoga provides a healthy outlet to calm the nervous system reducing stress and teaching kids how to relax. The mindfulness and breathing aspects of yoga offer children skills for dealing with emotions giving them an ability to understand their feelings and relate to others. The balancing and standing postures help kids with sensory integration issues, which help to provide structure and discipline in their development. Yoga helps cultivate good character traits like trusting and respecting themselves and others.
Super Stretch is an educational yoga tool to use and teach the fun of physical activity and breathing to children. They will use the skills of self-awareness, self-esteem and self-regulation that they learn from this app as a foundation for the rest of their lives.

Ratings and Reviews
But the app is really buggy, doesn't play all and the eagle cuts off mid pose. Poses could be longer too. Really annoying how it goes to take your photo after every pose.
Great Idea but App barely works
I work with kids in the spectrum and yoga is a great way to calm them down and keep them stimulated. I try playing most of them and they just don’t play. I’ll continuously press a button but nothing happens. Then I try to to press play all and the first one will play but it won’t continue. I’ve reinstalled the app many times but still having a ton of problems.
Fun but fast
My 2.5 loves this app and went through each pose several times. She had zero complaints and asks for it constantly.
My only feedback is that it jumps from one pose to the next REALLY quickly. It would be really great if the kids in the app repeated the poses for longer. By the time my little one figures out how to get her body into a pose, the app has moved on to the next one. Plus, little ones really thrive off of repetition and seeing a pose for longer would really be great. Also, Super Stretch talks incredibly fast, and while I know kids have short attention spans, sometimes it's hard to even catch what he is saying.
One other thing that might be a glitch (and this happens if you aren't using the "Play All" option) is that if my daughter choses to repeat a pose, then the app won't show the last pose. If she repeats a pose twice, it doesn't show the last two poses (and so on). It's like the app will only operate 12 times regardless of whether or not it has run through all poses.
All in all, my kid is happy with this. I think it's adorable and hope the feedback will be used for improvement. I'd pay for an expansion pack of more poses, too!
