Super Video Converter 4+

Long-time user. This lates update puts previous open features behind paywalls. App is unrecognizable

Follow-up: Yes it's true. I played a little more with this awful new version after the recent update. And it's true, they not only changed *everything*, but the "look" also managed to put all features behind paywalls.

Why not make it a new app instead? This new "update" has only managed to lock out long-time users from functionality we used to have access to for many, many years...

Disappointing. And this app which I've had and used for years, is now deleted from my Mac.

I'm a long time user, and have often used this app instead of other editing software for simpler projects. Like adjusting the aspect ratio, changing the resolution of a file, and even for some light editing.

This new update made me go through my apps thinking this couldn't possibly be the same converter I've used for all these years. I don't see the functionality I've had before, and *everything* changed so drastically, I don't think it's worth taking the time to even understand it!

Besides, within a couple of clicks the app told me that some functions were locked behind a paywall.

All I want was to do the same I've been able to for years! I'm lost, confused and disappointed...

Useless, Keeps crashing

It crashes at the openning nine times out of 10. Useless app.

Simple to use but has limitations

This app is simple to use but has limitations. It’s a little confusing at first but has a super fast learning cube and after that it is very easy to use. My biggest complaint is that is does not seem to convert HD video. Everything comes out lo res which is disappointing. I have writtent to the developers three times now with the hopes of a reply with an explanation or some type of help but alas, nothing in several months. As such I have only given this 3 stars. Product has potential but with the lack of developer communication (i.e. - we don’t care about our customers or further developement of the product) and the lack of HD quality I can only give this app a 3 star rating at this time. Happy to update if the Dev’s contact me or if HD becoes available as I was led to believe when making my purchase. BTW, HD resolution is especially important when using this for technical vids that need image quality of sufficient qaulity to be able to see what the presenter is showing you on the screen of their computer. Things like Adobe Lightrom or most other tutorials from a computer. ps - the orginal source file is HD but the copt this app makes is NOT HD.

We don't know if your problem has been solved, but we have made many updates, and if you can see this reply, please update to the latest version. It supports converting videos to HD. You need to select HD videos from Profile list before converting. If your problem still exists, please contact us. We will reply to you as soon as possible. Thank you!
