Superfan, the social music app 4+

EDIT/UPDATE: I’ve also noticed the app does not always show what I’ve played most recently in the “recently played” section…would love for that to update more frequently!

I think this is such a unique app concept; it’s so much fun to see my friends’ listening habits! But as others have said, it doesn’t feel entirely accurate. My top artists are usually pretty much correct, but I keep having top tracks that I listened to once or skipped over completely in a playlist. Would like to see more accuracy! Also, one reviewer had a great idea for a “recommended song;” that would be a really cool addition! I’d love to have the option to add something you recommend to your friends, maybe when you get the Friday drop notification. All in all, love the app, just some frustrations with data!

When I originally built it I literally thought my friends would be the only people to ever use it. As it has grown to over 300,000 users, I've tried to keep improving the data collection to ensure it stays accurate, but that has been the single hardest part! I still have more ideas for how to get the data to be more accurate and up-to-date, so keep looking for improvements there.

I really love the idea of this app, and everything about it is great except for two complaints. I wish I could still access past weeks to see what my top artists were, all I’m able to see is the description of the week but not the actual stats. I also have trouble with the notification drop. Despite having them turned on I’m not getting notifications and I’m missing out. Since my notifications don’t work I end up missing the drop and then when I go to check I can’t actually see past stats. Everything else is great!

I am an analytical person and huge music lover/ singer and since downloading Superfan almost a year ago I have only the most wonderful things to say. I love to see who I'm streaming most per week, what songs and albums too!! The vibes we get per week always make me really happy and giggle and it's been so special because of the group setting feature Superfan has, I can see my friends analytics and they can see mine so it's become a tradition to check them together and just a really nice excuse to have fun and call my friends(: I will always have Superfan, I loooove it💛💛
