Love it, but .........Height issue!

Hi guys! I’m not a gamer nor do I like to exercise even though I want too. I just hot a vr and wanted to see if I can into virtual workout. Saw your app, tried out the demo and I really liked what I saw except for the scenes where the platform seem to be hovering above, like the one with volcano, freaks the heck out of me. Luckily the one I got to try out for the demo was the scene at the beach or an ocean can’t remember now, but the platform was not hovering so high and I was able to play it and enjoy the game/work out. Which is why I decided to try the free month trial. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to play any of the ones where the platform seem to be hovering so high, my feet’s become glue to the ground and my heart start to raises not because I’m moving but because I’m freaking out in that head of mind. And it no longer becomes fun to work out anymore but just wanting it to end or ending right out cause I can’t take it anymore. So is there a way to pick out your scene or a way to lower the platform myself or can you have two versions where the platform is higher and one is lower (like for a example the volcano scene. I’m saying that one caused that’s the one I can remember clearly but there was others ones, I froze playing them, so had to end the game hence why I can’t remember them. Hope you guys understand what I’m trying to say. I want to get the monthly plan but I want to be able to enjoy every single one of them that’s being put out and enjoy the music to all of them if I decide to play them.

I’ve been a VR enthusiast for years, and recently began using supernatural. I previously would run 5 miles 4 times a week, then I adopted 2 young kids….and have packed on a few pounds. After repeatedly failing to get motivated, I gave supernatural a shot, and have been beyond impressed. From the first session, it was clear this would be far less of a slog than traditional cardio, maybe even fun. Granted, the first few sessions were kind of tough, but after a couple weeks I was having a blast and looking forward to my workouts. The boxing and flow both provide great workouts, and compliment each other well. After about 2 months I am going strong, and only have a few critiques. I have graduated to hard workouts and love a challenge. The pros only workouts are very demanding, but I wish there were more of them. My biggest complaint is the duration of the workouts. I try for about an hour 5 times a week. I usually break this into a few 20-30 min sessions, but am quickly running out of new hard workouts. Most seem to be 10-15 mins…I can stack them, but switching the menus and choosing takes time. Also, I don’t quite understand the scoring and point system. My accuracy is always over 99 percent even when I miss strokes, and I don’t understand the numerical score.

I just want to start out by saying how happy I am that I found this app when I purchased an Oculus a month or so ago. I’d been searching for something to help me on my fitness and weight loss journey and let me just say….I’ve Definitely found it with Supernatural! I love the boxing workouts the most, but I also enjoy the flow ones too. I love all of the trainers and the way they keep me motivated throughout the workouts. I love the way they have low, medium, and high intensity workouts, so I’ve been able to build myself up at my pace. The Quick Hit workouts are amazing and I try to do a couple of them each day just to get me started. Supernatural has changed everything for me. They’ve made working out fun for me and I love that the most. I do the paid subscription and I feel like it’s the best money that I’ve spent on an app ever. Thank you guys for putting so much work into this app and making it the best fitness app I’ve ever seen. So many different workouts and different intensity levels and the absolute best music to get you up and moving. I recommend this to everyone I know and I will continue to. Keep up the amazing work and thank you again! I’m off to go box some more. Who’d ever thought that working out could ever be this much fun? Not me that’s for sure. ;) A Million Stars from me!!

On the plus side I think we’re just seeing the beginning of VR, AR and 360 degree virtual workouts so Supernatural is headed in the right direction. The scenery is beautiful and the music is great. There are trainers who emphasize the right positioning and movement so it feels like more of a workout than something like Beat Saber and I did work up a sweat in the 3 workouts I’ve done so far. However the trainer instruction doesn’t seem synced to my movements so whether or not I hit a target, the voice says something like “well done.” It feels very impersonal. On top of that I hope a future update introduces machine learning to adapt to your fitness level, strengths and weaknesses just like a fitness class would offer modifications based on personal aptitude.There’s also no real warm up and absolutely no cool down. They should add both of these sequences as mini “workouts” to the program so that someone who wanted to use this in place of a fitness app would find a full service experience. Right now it feels more like a game that happens to have some avatars in yoga pants. I do have a paid subscription and will continue to use because I think they’re headed in the right direction but they need to work on their fitness credibility and content strategy otherwise it’s not worth it.
