Know exactly what to train, what to lift, and when to push. Superset turns your workout history into answers: which muscles are recovered, what weight to load next, and whether you're actually progressing.
LOG SETS IN SECONDS
Superset is built for the time between sets, not screen time. Jump Right In starts a workout instantly, your last weights and reps carry over, and rest timers run themselves. On Apple Watch, just say it: "Bench press, 3 sets of 10." Logged. Phone stays in your pocket.
KNOW WHAT'S READY TO TRAIN
The muscle heatmap shows your training volume on a live body map, so you can see which muscle groups are recovered and which need rest. Done guessing? Generate a workout for exactly those muscles in one tap.
LIFT THE RIGHT WEIGHT, EVERY SET
Superset watches your performance and suggests when to add weight and when to back off. Progressive overload without the spreadsheet. (Prefer to be left alone? Turn it off in Settings.)
FOLLOW A PLAN THAT PLANS AHEAD
Pick a structured program or build your own. Phased progressions and scheduled rest days are handled for you. All you have to do is show up and lift.
SWITCHING FROM ANOTHER APP? BRING EVERYTHING
Import your full history from any app via CSV with AI-powered exercise matching, and sync both ways with Apple Health. Your data stays yours: export everything, anytime.
TRAIN WITH FRIENDS, ONLY IF YOU WANT TO
Follow friends, share PRs, and browse routines from lifters worldwide. The entire social layer is optional and your profile can stay private.

Great foundation! Just need to iron out some details.

I’ll definitely be updating my review as the app continues to be built out but to start off, I love the app so far. It integrates well with the watch and it’s been keeping me consistent. Some suggestions:- As the library is still getting built out, naturally not every movement is there. Would appreciate if you allowed people to write out their custom movements. This could later be made to make the library more rich by seeing what people are adding. - I’m a little confused how to use the dictation part, more information in the app about that would be awesome. - When doing a workout and entering reps and weight, I would love if by default it brought in prior values. - For accountability partners or maybe even for coaches, it would be cool if you could get notified when a friend/partner completed an exercise so you can compliment them- My girlfriend suggested app themes to make this appealing to woman, of course lower on the development list but she would love to have a pink app lolThanks so much for your hard work, awesome start and looking forward for what’s to come!
Developer Response
Thanks so much for my first review, really appreciate it and glad you’re enjoying the app!! A few things: 1) You can actually add custom exercises in the app already by either pressing the plus button on the library page or within the workout itself when adding an exercise by pressing “Create” including exercise name, instructions, etc. Even custom exercises will get online videos pulled if they are a standard exercise. However, this wasn’t clear for a lot of users so working on clarifying this feature and perhaps adding a tutorial. 2) You’re absolutely right, dictation has very little guidance and can be improved upon. You can basically tell it to do anything (i.e. “Barbell Bench Press 3 sets 10 reps, moderate difficulty” or “Replace Barbell Bench Press with Dumbbell Bench Press”). I’ll be adding way more guidance on this soon! 3) it should bring prior values from weight and reps! Please contact hello@thesupersetapp.com if you are seeing issues on this end and I’ll fix it asap. 4) Overall awesome ideas for the accountability partners and the themes, will definitely add it to the list!Thank you again for all of the feedback and happy lifting! One of the best gym tracking apps out there!
Techsupport12
I’ve been looking for an app to track my lifts for the longest time. What’s always bothered me is that almost all are subscription based. Superset has the free mode which is great imo and includes everything a tracking app should. The pro version is also a subscription which isn’t the best however it is priced way more competitively than others. It also does offer quite a bit more premium features that are well worth the price. I really like the auto progression option it has. It’s a small thing but definitely something I really like to have. Overall I’d say this is my favorite gym tracking app and I’d highly recommend it!
Best Workout App Out There
Realk312
This is probably the best workout app I’ve used, it has a lot of advanced features that other workout apps don’t have. I like that I can import my data, I like the voice logging feature, the social aspect of the app and the overall design. It’s very intuitive and offers a lot for both beginners and more advanced users. Big props to the developer, this app is going to be huge !!
Simple but yet has everything you want!

I've tested soooo many workout apps and most didn't have the functionality or features I needed but Superset covered almost all of the bases while keeping it simple. I've been looking for something that doesn't keep me in the app too long while I'm working out and you've achieved that! Amazing job highly recommended!
