Suspects: Mobile Detective 17+

First of all, I love the game. It’s a great concept and a really cool idea. I can truly say I’ve never played a game like it so hands down to the developers for coming up with a really cool concept for the game.

My only issues is that there should be an option (a free option) to play quickly instead of having to wait hours for a new message. An option to let players choose whether they want to play the intended way, or a sped-up version of the game. Another thing, and this one might just be a personal issue but I have read some other reviews about ad issues…I can’t get the ad-given gifts. I watch 3 out of 4, and I get the close ad option, but when I go to watch the 4th add to get the gift I can’t close the ad to receive the gift. No matter how many times I reset the app, it doesn’t work. For a free to play player, this is a bit tedious *but* not such a huge issue to where I would quit playing. I guess I’ll have to miss out on some aspects as I can’t afford to buy coins. Nonetheless, the game is great and I appreciate the creators for putting such a good game on the App Store.

I’ve been wanting an app like this where you get to be the detective! This was great! Thank you! Some things that would make it better would be maybe a little more that could make us feel like we’re actually solving the case with more clues that can be solved. It also would be neat to have more access to things that would help solve the case, like autopsy reports, police reports, etc. There were some boring episodes and sometimes it felt like we weren’t learning anything, like some episodes were just filler. Also the websites didn’t work for news articles and the like, which was a big bummer! Wish those worked and that there were more things like that! The real Instagram for her was an awesome touch! Would have been cool if all her friends had one we could check too! This is a great base for a game! I have so many ideas! With some tweaks I think this could be huge!

The game itself is a great concept, but I’ve just reached level two and want to delete it because I’ve released the time I was playing the game yesterday was spent watching ads to unlock a message. I didn’t get enough coins because they only give you like 20 per each add and it maxes out around 9 per day. I got my daily one today and opened a message that just says “I think after last night you’re not at some random guys house” And now I have 20 coins when it requires 250 to unlock more texts. There’s also not much structure, your just big brothering this girls phone.

Update to add…I have gotten to level five now and I really enjoy playing this game and realized you need to complete objectives in order to get money. The downside to this is still that I spend my money to speed up messages and get short, random text messages and then have to wait three hours for the next one. I really wish there was a way that I could just play the game. I wish there was a little bit more structure because I’m not really sure what I should be doing while I wait for new messages.
