Good luck accessing your bitcoin

No way to exchange bitcoin for cash. Once your money is in Swan's hands, they make it insanely difficult to withdraw it. In order to withdraw money, you must set up 2-factor authenticaiton. I did this twice, but Swan disabled it both times. On the third attempt, Swan required me to verify with an old number which they had disabled years before, and the only way to change my number was to set up a Zoom call with them, for which they have virtually no avialablillty. When I attended the Zoom meeting, no one was there. There is no number to call anyone on, and the customer service representives ignore your questions and send form responses that don't address your issues. Don't get yourself involved with these crooks! Huge mistake!

Hard to beat the SWAN FORCE

Hard to say what I love most about Swan, is it the easy to set up dca? The automatic withdrawal to my hardware wallet? Or the easiest way to give the gift of bitcoin to a family member? All of this and a support team that has your back should you have a question or if your one of those I’ll figure it out for myself kinda people an educational section that is miles beyond any other “crypto” exchange. #onlybitcoin

Not your keys, not your cheese

Hopefully people realize now that keeping your precious sats on exchange is playing with fire. I appreciate Swan Bitcoin because they have systems in place to encourage you to self custody your coins. Just set up auto withdrawals, and your in business. Plus, low fees, and access to great resources such as articles, and you’ve got an educational resource too. Also, my friend works there, so there’s that!

Happy there’s finally an app!

That because big said, it would be nice to have the cash value of the bitcoin we own available somewhere. One of my favorite features of the website, is seeing the amount invested, and current value. If that could be in the app, it would be perfect. Also the login process could be smoother. A password, or face recognition. I know it’s a new app and the rough spots will be smoothed out in time. Just a couple of things to focus on.

Best Bitcoin App

Swan has to be the best way to stack sats. They have everything you need for your own DCA program or simple one time buy. They will even deliver your coins right to your wallet automatically. They are experts at helping you gift Bitcoin to friends and family and are a fountain of great educational material. It doesn’t get better than this.

Great job promoting the brand, poor job onboarding new clients

Had heard lots of great things about this company and was excited when they sent me notification that TX opened up for them.

Did a test transaction and it went through, week later they said my account is frozen and my application was denied. Refused to provide any insight as to why.

A company who takes so much consumer information (SSN, DL, Bank acct etc) and then say I am a high risk (which is absurd) but no human answer as to why?

Guess my advice to any shopping Swan as a provider - be careful how much information you give them. It’s hard to trust a company who takes all your information but then will not tell you why you got a completely bogus risk rating?

If I can’t trust a company with a $250 test transaction why would I want to use them as my primary?

Advertising their services against Coinbase, well at least Coinbase lets you onboard as a client….

Educational

I recommend Swan Bitcoin to any friends and relatives who don’t know much about Bitcoin. I recommend they start stacking with Swan and check out their educational resources. I have been talking to friends from college, relatives, and divorcees about rolling over their IRAs and 401ks into Swan Bitcoin. I am even going to recommend their services to my tribespeople.
