Good online store!

I’ve been a customer for years now and I’ve always had really good experiences purchasing from them. I had a little bit of a challenge consigning with them, maybe because I’m not aware of the specifics and it seemed a little spotty in the communication in that department. I put a lot into making sure the clothes I Sent were in good shape, so when I didn’t receive much feedback it was a bit frustrating. The wording of their response to my box I sent in was basically, I took it, as my clothes were of poor quality and if I continued sending them things of that nature , I would be banned from sending them anything more in the future. I am positive my clothes were not offensively horrible, so I was a little taken off guard. Needless to say that was the first and only box I sent to them because I’m not begging for them to take my clothes. I’ll donate them, for what it’s worth, with no worries. Regardless of that, I continue to buy their clothes because I have a huge selection from them and I enjoy shopping on their site.

Truly awful Customer Service

I’ve been a customer on swap for quite some time. It can be challenging due to the low quality pictures and limited descriptions but more often than not, this led to some happy surprises when the item I bought ended up being better than expected. Everything was fine until I had to contact customer service for the first time. It took half a day and the threat of a BBB complaint to get the error corrected. Even after the correction One of the customer service reps kept emailing me to tell me I was wrong??? I literally had to tell him to leave me alone. Bizzarre and upsetting.

I love this site!!

This site has gotten a lot of bad reviews and I was very hesitant to send anything but I figured I’d try since it was all going to go to Goodwill anyways. I’m actually pleasantly surprised! The only reason it’s not a 5 star review is because it took almost 3 months to process my box when they advised it would take 2. I understand they have a lot of incoming volume, but 3 months is a long wait. They do take a big chunk of the sales, but they’re doing all the work! I literally just send stuff in a box! I only had 3 items of about 35 rejected, which isn’t bad. I’ve made about $70 so far on stuff I was just going to give away. I wouldn’t send anything super valuable here because you definitely won’t get the money you want for it, but for things you’re just going to get rid of anyways it’s good!
