Available for iPhone and iPad, this new app features quiz questions covering five categories and ten levels. You can test your knowledge and challenge your friends on the topics of red wine, white wine, distilled spirits, sparkling wines, and dessert wines. Each topic has ten difficulty levels that you must pass through on your way to the top, and if you reach the top level of all five categories you earn the right to call yourself a “world wine mastermind!”
All 500 questions on the SWE Wine and Spirits Quiz App were created by SWE’s Director of Education, Jane A. Nickles, CSS, CWE. The questions on levels 1 – 5 are based on the 2014/2015 editions of SWE’s Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and Certified Specialist of Spirits (CSS) Study Guides, while the higher levels are a perfect study tool for those seeking the Certified Wine Educator (CWE) or other higher level wine and spirits certifications.

This is for anyone who wants to have deep knowledge about wines, regions, vineyards, history, wine making etc..great job with French Wines. thanks. I also didnot know much about Italian wines and I would say this app has helped me tremendously and learned a lot of about Italian wines and regions, it would be great to have USA Wines or California Wines.
Needs to update
I love the app questions and ideas it tests, but the page doesn’t format/display properly on iPhone X. For the 10 question dots- only the top 2/3 of the first 5 are visible and then the graphics get cut off. I had this app on my iPhone 7 and it was perfect but I don’t think they’ve done any updates for newer phone models this year.
Let’s you practice with questions that might actually be on the CSW exam. Every once in awhile, even though I’ve passed the section, it keeps taking me back to the same questions when I hit continue.
