#1 Swim Instructor App

PROS

-Swim Coach doesn’t have ads or constant advertisements to buy premium.

-They create weekly training that can go to 16 weeks where you can focus on breathing, technique AND/OR endurance.

-I can log and have a set created by day instead of a weekly plan

-I can set my training for Intermediate because I’m not a pro but I know how to swim.

-I can also set the distance for MY pool length in meters (or yards) and how often you swim a week.

-They send daily reminders only when I set them.

-They allow me to see how many calories I burn and how far I travel in meters (or yards)

-They set distance goals with cute panda badges

-I can focus more on the strokes like free or breaststroke more than butterfly and how often I want to focus on my legs

-Creates the sets fast and organized

I greatly enjoy this app.

CONS

-Once I set a training it’s set in stone unless I start all over (but I don’t lose track of previous swim lengths)

-They almost always have swim sets with gear that I don’t have (Such as a pull buoy)

CONCLUSION

Don’t waste your time with Apples “great” list of Fitness and Health. They are all overwhelmed with “BUY PREMIUM” or leave the app basically useless. That is the only reason this app isn’t on Apples Fitness and Health list.

This is the perfect app for swim training. No doubt.

Such a great App!

I’ve returned to swimming after finally recovering from a year of various injuries. I knew I needed the structure and training a routine a coach provides, but without a coach. The answer was this little app. It’s amazing and it connects to my Garmin Fenix. All I have to do is tell it my goals, the stroke I want to swim, and the pool toys I have. Incredible and so versatile and simple to use. I’ve been using it for about 2 months now and it’s taken me from 800 meter swims to 2300 meters over a training timeframe I can completely control. I also love the user interface and the training it walks you through on your watch. The customization options are also very useful. Love it!

Great for improvement

I had been creating my own swim plans, but I always cut out things I wasn’t good at or didn’t like. Having the app create a plan for me allows me to see great improvement in areas I was avoiding.

The workouts are also very customizable. For your plan you can set how many weeks you want and how many days a week you’ll be swimming. For the actual workout, you’re able to change each set if needed and change the order.

Definitely recommend this app for anyone who’s a little lost creating their own workouts or know you aren’t improving as quickly as you could with your own plan.
