Swipecast 12+

Overall I like the concept of Swipecast, getting paid is easy & quick, and 10% is a fair commission given that agents these days want at least 20% (plus all of your clients) for doing nada. The app can be buggy though, and the biggest drawback is that all communication needs to happen within their app via text. Sorry, but NOTHING can take the place of speaking via phone to a photographer when crucial details need to be ironed out. So being able to exchange phone numbers once the job is booked would be a major upgrade.

Signing on with Swipecast allows you, as an artist, to have a fair chance at amazing projects. Being in the right place and the right time, PLUS being prepared, this agency can make your NYC dreams finally come true.

I had the pleasure of working with a great brand new crew. However, I had to bother a few people to get the moodboard, and the main contact was unclear, but in the end, well worth the effort. Who could turn down a cover shot for L’Officiel?

Using swipecast from a lot.
I remember at the beginning I waited quite a bit to be accepted. They are selective, and this is actually a good thing long term.
The quality of the work is always good, fast and safe payments, and the commission is acceptable - especially compared to the traditional agencies.
I feel also more comfortable to be in a high level environment: no amatorial models, cheap photographers, and various wanna-be.
Support is ok but can be improved.
