SWRemote is the mobile application for Successware®21; it enables field service technicians to work remotely from the field and send data directly to the back office. In the same way, the office can dispatch and make changes to work orders that notify the appropriate technician in real time. SWRemote allows the user to become a paperless office while providing technicians with more tools for the job.
SWRemote provides technicians with customer history notes before they arrive on a job to give a better understanding of customers’ needs and present upgrade opportunities. SWRemote allows users to capture data and complete forms even when there is no internet access; information will be uploaded once an internet connection is re-established.
SWRemote has an easy-to-use interface, that can be managed completely from a tablet/smartphone or from the desktop app. You’ll get set up easily with the help of a Pointman Customer Success team member, and can get started right away.
* Improved functionality of the app when devices are connected to miscellaneous bluetooth devices (ex. speakers, printers, etc.)
* When completing a job, the Complete button is now disabled, to prevent multiple job punches sending through to SuccessWare21 and multiple emails being sent. The Complete button will be reactivated if the Complete process is cancelled for any reason.
* Fixed a bug that allowed users to input no value for a timecard punch or call Estimated Duration which resulted in a error
* Improved the storage of the device registration to help prevent any issues where Apple clears the local storage after several days of inactivity

Not tech friendly
There is no notification when a job hits your schedule so you have to login and check every so often or you will miss a call.
You cannot look at pictures of a job unless you are logged in to that job as an assignment. You can only read the history.
Salesman cannot create a proposal from the app with multiple options unless you add an additional app which cost more per user per month, but they are integrated... why not just combine the two and charge more.
Invoicing works well and the signature and payment are good.

The SWRemote Suite includes the SWRemote app for running jobs, but also includes an app called Acquire. Acquire allows a technician running a job in SWRemote to create multiple quote proposals with images included that can be presented to the customer or emailed to them. Any proposals that the customer accepts are then automatically brought back to the invoice screen in SWRemote so the tech can complete the job and the information can be sent back to SuccessWare21.
Acquire does need to be set up, so if you would like assistance with that please reach out to our support team and we can help with that as well as showing you how it works with SWRemote. Thanks for the feedback. We've made some changes in our most recent releases that directly impact your issues.
We have recently modified the Dropbox integration so that techs in the field can see all of the Location Documents (pics, docs, etc) associated with a customer from the customer search screen in SWRemote. There have also been improvements to speed up the load of docs as well as make them easier to view. Images can no also be uploaded directly from the phone's camera roll.
Acquire, the app you mentioned as allowing the creation of proposals is now included as part of the SWRemote Suite at no extra cost.
Great customer service
We have been using SW Remote for several years and are so happy we are. Greg and his team are truly professional and usually only deal with me when something goes wrong or isn't correct. I'm taking the time out of my schedule to write this review to get the word out that there are companies out there that still care about the client. We are in the customer service industry and try to do everything in our power to make our clients' experience one they won't forget, in a good way! SW Remote has treated us the same way. Recently there was a billing issue (my fault because I wasn't managing our account properly) and without hesitation Rachel jumped right on the issue to help me make the proper corrections. Less than an hour later Greg called and issued the credits for us. Outstanding customer service is not the norm but it will keep clients loyal even through tough times in the relationship. Thank you SW REMOTE for always being professional and for caring about your clients!!!
There has to be something better out there!
Won’t allow me to build a proposal/estimate. No way to set up for follow up. Then on top of everything else the entire system goes down. The office has to scramble to figure out service and maintenance calls and estimates. No one knows when this is going to be cleared up.

Jim, the frustration of the recent host outage for SuccessWare21 was felt by back office and mobile users alike. Unfortunately, because the company hosting the data is where the issue was going on, we were all at the mercy of waiting for them to come back on line.
As for the Proposals/Estimates, the SWRemote Suite includes an app called Acquire. Acquire allows for the creation of multiple option proposals with pictures. Once Acquire is set up you can access it directly from SWRemote during the course of a job and then automatically import the accepted proposal back to the invoice screen in SWRemote. Our support team would be happy to assist you with being sure Acquire is properly set up and walk you through how to make use of it's tools.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
