Sycamore 4+

I would love to “like” this app, but it is missing much of the functionality of the Sycamore website. It would be nice to be able to add cafeteria meal choices, to have access to the directory, and to pay accounts from the Sycamore App; however, you have to go the Sycamore website (full-site), which also isn’t very mobile friendly?

Bottom line: Has potential to be good, missing lots of functionality...

First of all, I am not here to say this app stinks with a paragraph of bad grammar. I think that there are things that need to be addressed.

1. No PAN notifications? That would be helpful. All you need to do is use background refresh in iOS to check every 15 minutes for a new PAN. Then if there is one, send a UNNotification. Or the better route would be to use push notifications. I would accept either

2. Why can't I look at assignments from previous days?

3. You break the standard swipe the edge of the screen right to go back gesture in most screens. Why? That was going out of your way for unexpected behavior.

3. The PAN sending view controller stinks, I can't see my message I'm typing all at once.

4. Why modal for assignment details? I expect the behavior of pushing a new view controller in the UINavigationController.

I am not going to ask for entirely new features like quizzes on the iPhone (that would be nice), but it's the little things that I am asking to fix so you can make the experience great. I am giving you three stars for trying.

In theory this would be a great app. However the includes features are essentially what you would have expected from something 15+ years ago. No ability to view pdf attachments, make menu selections or pay accounts.
