I love this app. For a free version, it already has tons of options. Only annoying thing (imo) is that when u redo something, your setting also reset. Would be cool if you could just set back the painting itself and continue with the setting you had, without having to change the settings over and over again.

(Previous review is on the SymLab basic threads) I can’t tell you how many times I’ve deleted an app bc devs have forgotten their consumers loyalty, the people who trusted in the app from launch and up to app upgrade rollouts — symmetry lab just did exactly what I thought they’d do, which is, remember the users who’ve trusted in the app from the outset. It’s 2026, yeh? — but I’ll go wide and call it 30+/- years that AppStore and PlayStore marketers have been able to put all their User data/response to work to improve the app and their user’s experiences and trust. so thank you!

Very nice idea about drawing kaleidoscope effect, taking advantage of nowadays computation.The best part is, the colors are adding up as light, so as you add more colors together, they ended up appearing white. It is a very nice aesthetic choice, way better than laying one color on top of another or something.Also it gives you a limited amount of choice of color to avoid being insane, and choice of dotted lines, and mirrored or rotational effect, etc. The options are well designed and clearly laid out.Overall, it's a very well designed and satisfying app.

There is a variety of creative options, but it still could have so much more. my suggestions are: more brush sizes, more colors, and different effects (glowing, movement, etc.) Also, it would be great if we could zoom in. You could also try applying these to the full version :)

Hi! Thanks so much for your feedback. I'm continually adding features, and additional brushes are high on my list. Symmetry Lab now has pinch to zoom, and an all-new color system that allows selection of any custom color.
Sharing a pattern now includes a caption so people can find the app that made it.
Under the hood: the app uses less memory while you pinch, zoom and draw during long sessions, and an iPad bug that could freeze the Restore Purchases screen has been fixed.
