The worst thing I can find with this game is the app errors that occur from time to time but they’re not even close to ruining my experience with the game. It takes a while, but after playing a good amount of it (experimenting with the card combinations and completing a good amount of missions) and getting to understand a bit more of this rather interesting RPG gameplay I can’t stop playing, it’s THAT fun. It’s not difficult at all to get a 5 star card and they give you various options to get song stones which are used for the gacha and everything you might need to update your cards are not difficult to get either. If you exclude the errors that will surely get fixed by the developers given the time, this game becomes a really good way to have fun while listening to the anime’s songs and work your way through missions to get very strong teams. The developers of this game seem to be very supportive of the game and its community which is obviously a very good thing. In my opinion best way to know if this game is for your or not is definitely to just give it a GOOD try, maybe playing it for around 5-10 hours. Even though that might seem like a lot it really doesn’t feel like a lot when actually playing the game, really recommend it.
Never watched the show but game is great and large
I have never had a chance to watch the show, but this game is excellent. It has a lot to do and while there is a ton of grinding, it is over several different ways (rarity boost, stat boosts, limit breaks) so it doesn’t get monotonous.
The story I’ve played so far (I played the entirety of chapter 1, which is pretty large) is a summary of part of the anime but made me interested in it. The characters are likeable and can be over the top in a fun way.
On top of that the game, at least at release, is very generous with the currency so its easy to stay f2p and pull on gacha.
The only issue I have is that you cant max out a character without getting five dupes as well, making 5* characters a pain to max out (and impossible for collab characters like the current Attack on Titan versions of characters if you don’t pull enough on their banners), but they do give you a very good chance on maxing out if you dedicate to a focus banner. I was able to max out an Attack on Titan character while staying free to play.
Overall this is an excellent game and I highly suggest you should try it even if you’ve not seen the anime.
When I first saw that this was coming to the AppStore I was very excited. As a fan of the anime I couldn’t wait to try it out. Especially since the preview of it looked great. Upon trying to log in on the release day, however, I was met with a maintenance notice. Not a good start but that’s fine. Just means I have to wait another day. Upon trying to log in during the scheduled end of maintenance, I was yet again met with another maintenance screen saying that it had been extended by 2 more hours. Again. Not a great start but I can forgive it if the game is good. At long last the maintenance ended and I was finally able to play. Or so I thought. I went in to try and play it but was overwhelmingly disappointed and frustrated. I played for 15 minutes and barely got through the very first battle tutorial due to it constantly crashing with ‘error’ messages and ‘poor connection’ messages. Now I know I don’t have the best connection in the world but I have literally never had a problem connecting with any other game on my phone ever. And as someone with almost 200 games that’s REALLY saying something. I don’t know what the hell you guys were doing with that maintenance but if you’re seriously telling me I waited an extra 24 hours for a game that crashed every 5 seconds than you all need to rethink your career choices. Fix this immediately. And don’t take 24 hours to do it.
