What a great idea for finding new music! It's nothing revolutionary really but just simple and interesting. I love the feeling of excitement when I get that notification that I've received a mixtape! It's like a rustic human approach to music discovery where instead of complex computer algorithms telling me what to listen to, it's just other people around the world who are my peers. The app also looks very smooth and slick and is pretty easy to use. It has one of this onboarding tutorials when you first open it but the tutorial is really short and simple. Also being able to chat to the people you get connected with through your mixtapes is nice. It means you can not only find new music but also find new friends over music. Love it

this app is amazing! i love the exchange and chat feature. I love how you get access to so many songs and there are no ads whatsoever. And its not even just music oddly enough, you can also listen to speeches and podcasts and stuff which they don't really seem to advertise. Its been so much fun while i've been in quarantine but i can definitely see myself using it for tunes to brighten up my morning commute. Highly recommend this app to people who listen to music in the car, walking to school, etc. as its not just your music you're listening to but something that somebody else has put together for you. (i'm listening to music with this app while writing this ;) )

This app connects to Soundcloud and has access to the entire sound cloud catalog of songs! Because of this I can just make playlists in this app and listen to them here with the snazzy music player just for something different to the standard orange Soundcloud player. Switching between Soundcloud and syren music players makes it a whole less boring instead of using the same music player all the time. On top of that you can exchange playlists with people which is actually a good way to find new music to listen to

Syren is a great app with loads of great songs on it. Its kind of amazing  that you can get so many songs for free. Some times I can't find the original of a song i'm looking for but I can usually find a really good remix. I've found a solid collection of hip-hop and r&b music. And then on top of the playlists i put together with all the songs i add, i also get more from other people when i do exchanges. Also, i've had some pretty interesting chats on here so its actually kind of a good way to make new friends and meet new people too.

As a sound cloud user i enjoy using this app to listen to music as it gives me access to all soundcloud music but with a different look and some more features. Because its sound cloud music it has songs from big names to indie artists to underground artists and everyone in between. Its also easy to use. I only wish you could download songs with it

I love the social music sharing discovery. It means you can share what you're listening to but also as someone who makes music myself, I can send out playlists with one of my new songs on them and see how people feel about the song. Top app idea.
