Description

The soundtrack to your gaming world, Syrinscape creates immersive sound design and a movie-like soundtrack for tabletop games.

Transform your next role-playing or tabletop gaming session. Syrinscape is a revolutionary sound design app created in Australia by tabletop role-playing aficionados. The app conjures every aural landscape imaginable, from space ship battles, frozen moons and space docks to cyberpunk discos.

Unlike other soundboard-style apps, Syrinscape uses adaptable libraries of sound files – SoundSets – to improvise soundscapes, allowing users a great degree of control over what they are hearing, while requiring almost no interaction while the app runs.

The Syrinscape Sci-Fi Player app is optimized for iPad, giving users the ability to playback Syrinscape SoundSets with a beautiful, easy-to-use interface. All the Sci-Fi SoundSets you buy from the Syrinscape Store are available across all your devices, so you can pick up whichever device is to hand and immerse yourself in whatever sound world you desire.

Plug this into some big speakers at your next game and blow your player's minds!

Unbelievably bad.

Please, please PLEASE get a new app developer. Your sound selection is fantastic, everything is there for a beautiful game setting.

But every one of these apps need to be rewritten, rebuilt, completely rethought from scratch. They don’t even work properly with the iPhone notch in the way. Not to mention it’s simple needlessly ugly.

This is a very negative review but honestly it’s because I care for how cool this idea and platform is. The login system and storefront is there. The sounds a great. But these apps seriously need to be rethought, from scratch, in a 2023 way - better, simpler design. Something that doesn’t animate all goofy. Just straight forward buttons, tables, and selections.

Doesn’t seem worth the effort

It just feels like one of those apps that was made as cheaply as possibly using a cross-platform framework. Some buttons aren’t even pressable on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, and it also won’t play any audio for me.

How it’s also not been updated in over a year is also a red flag.

Great app But

Please!
Fix the buttons. You press the button once, the audio plays; that's great!
One would expect that if you press the same button a second time the audio would stop; it does not. You have to close the app to get the audio to stop. Really annoying
