Tablatures is a friendly guitar/bass tablature editor.

Tablatures is compatible with the popular PowerTab, a well-known and widely adopted tablature editor for Windows systems. Thus you can share your music even with those members of your band that don't own a Mac! Moreover, you can easily find thousands of song transcriptions in this format on the net. Tablatures can also import most GuitarPro 3-7 tabs.

The tabs you create can be exported in MIDI format and during playback you can follow the tab on screen to make it easier to learn tracks.

other people having good luck with this?

I just bought cause it seems like one of the few tab editors for mac. Seem pretty cool so far. anyone know where to find downloadable power tabs. It says this will open them.

Fits Need

Demo was accurate to what you get. I tried many similar tools and this fit my simple use case the best.

Tablatures is very good for basic song writing. It is easy to use and the author, Simone Tellini, is extremely gracious about answering any questions.
While Tablatures might not be for everyone, I've found that ii is just the ticket for me. I'm writing instrumental guitar songs with sections, key changes and lead guitar parts. Works without a hassle.
