TADAA – Camera Focus & Depth ١٢+

The title pretty much expresses how I feel about the app. These guys really stepped in to an instagrammed world only to show how them how it's done. Really exceptional set of tools, even in the free version, and a clean, streamlined editing process that offers enough freedom to accomplish what you want without sending you through a labyrinth of redundant styling options that seem to be included in many of the photo editing apps these days. Because Instagram still wins out as the superior social media platform I edit all my photos with tadaa, save them, then post them to my Instagram profile. I highly recommend this fantastic app, you won't be left looking for a replacement any time soon.

I've used a LOT of really good mobile iOS editors out there (and some ridiculously bad ones) and this surprised me. Initially I just wanted an app that featured masking for subtle adjustments to focus. But, once I started using this and seeing how incredibly easy it was to create decent masks, (seriously, it's almost better than doing with PS on my desktop!) I explored the countless other options this app offers. Now, after buying the full app, it's become my go to editor!

There is one annoyance, however. (Thus the 4 out of 5 stars).When I access my Photos library and select 'All Photos' only a very small selection of seemingly random images appears. I've come to conclude this is because they have been adjusted or were captured with my phone. The majority of images in my library that if want to edit are RAW files (cr2 and Panasonic). To get them to appear in Tadaa I have to first apply an edit in Photos (a small crop adjustment, etc.). Knowing this I can at least work around the problem, but since I don't experience the issue in other apps, I can only guess it's a bug or compatibility issue.

In any case, this app is well worth downloading, and I'd say pick up the full app. The $10 or whatever is a drop in the bucket for all you get here.

I’ve been or was a Tadaa user for many years. It was a photo sharing site at one time and as it evolved I brought more and more filters. To the point where I brought the whole pack and then to my surprise they changed their schematic to one where you now have to pay a subscription for what exactly?? To use more filter? Something that you can create in Snapseed or with your apple phone which by the way does very good photo editing as well. I loved this app and I made many friend here which was in my opinion a true photography app. (Not instagram which is a social media app disguised as a photo app), it was fun and again I didn’t mind buying the “packs” when they had them and then the whole bundle which i did, but to put a paid subscription is just petty, I know app developers need to make money but this is a bit much. I came to see the state of the app currently and am not pleased, go back to your roots Tadaa, the world of full of subscriptions services no one wants including this one. I’m surprised they didn’t take away the filters I had much like the pictures I once posted here which all disappeared. Good luck Tadaa. Your gonna need it.
