  • This game is good, but there is some things to emprove

The buttons don’t work as well. It’s not really good when it comes to simulating point fighting and the energy bar is the most annoying thing. Can you please just take that off I tried to kick and it makes me lean forward instead of kick. . It’s a good game. It just needs some improvements. Also do taekwondo in real life done it for five years and the movements are not that accurate. They look kind of off even though it is hard to get them accurate on a game so understand. and the blocks are not the most efficient. You can barely do anything on this game. It’s fun it needs lots of improvements though gonna point out something that someone else pointed out. How does a block take energy off the energy bar it seems that the AI reads the movements which is extra annoying

  • Very Cool Game

When I found the game, I immediately downloaded, played, and payed for the app. I found it very challenging, but fun. At first I found the game aggravating because of the level of difficulty. After a while, however, I became more comfortable with the controls and my timing. I still find it difficult, but I guess practice makes perfect. However, I would like to see more from the app. I've practiced TKD for over 25 years and I would like to see more backgrounds showing realistic tournaments. Perhaps better training portions. I would also like to see a control for the spinning hook kick, much like the game already has for the Axe kick. Not just the circular button. The kick is worth 4 points in an actual tournament. Also the app keeps crashing. Please fix. Overall good job on the game.

  • A game for fighting purists

I didn't think I would enjoy the game at first, but I found myself rather enjoying it after I started playing. This is a game that's easy to pick up but hard to master. If a gamer is looking for a Tekken/Street Fighter type of extended combos and juggling type of fighting game, this isn't it. This game does a good job capturing what it was meant to do which is to give the player a sense of the subtleties of actually competing in a fighting match. Timing, distance, managing exposure after making a committed strike, counter striking, limited physical stamina before needing to take a breath, and even the on-the-spot decision to block high or low are all elements to be good at any martial arts/fighting sport from boxing, fencing, even MMA. This game gave me my fix in searching for a game that had similar realistic mechanics as Bushido Blade. Now this game does have its shortcomings which mainly come in the network reliability and lag which does impact the multiplayer fight. I don't know about hacks, but if you disconnect from a multiplayer fight, it is deemed as if you forfeited the match and you lose points. Simple as that. It happened to me a few times and the network reliability can certainly be improved to make the game play more reliable. The lag does meaningfully impact playability especially when you're trying to gauge timing and distance. Due to lag I sometimes kick at an opponent I think is in range just to find him teleported backwards. Outside of the lag, I find the solo play still rather enjoyable as the opponents really train you to develop techniques such as trying to draw a strike so you can counter and get a kick into the head. A very satisfying moment when done correctly. I liken it to getting a hole-in-one in golf or a GOAL in soccer.4 stars due to the network issues/lag, otherwise a five start game in my book.

  • AMAZING!

I write a review only when necessary. This game is superbly made. The graphic is amazing. The gameplay is flawless. I'm a big fan of tekken and street fighter. This game makes me believe that there could be a flawless port unlike the ones that have already been made. The control mechanism is so good. Warning though, the game is super short. I'm excited to try multiplayer with my friends, but wish there was more to it. It's free so definitely recommend you to give it a shot. The game is made so realistically and you can tell they really tried to by the motions of the gameplay. I love it!

Long before Street Fighter 2 changed the face of one-on-one fighting games, we had a genre that focused on competition between athletes trained in the same sport, with the Atari’s “World Karate Championship” being a standout title. Now we have “Taekwondo (Grand Prix)”, recently updated, and it does not disappoint. It’s challenging and has a substantial move set to allow players to explore their own competitive approaches. The timing and strategy in this game is deceptively simple, reflecting an authentic competition experience… with far fewer bruises!

  • AI issues

the game is good until u reach the later stages it seems as if the AI literally reads ur moves there are also times where i throw a strike and the AI throws the same strike slightly after i throw mine and the AI gets the points but i dont there are also time where the AI is spamming multiple moves at once and loses very little stamina meanwhile im blocking and lose a half of my stamina in less than 3 seconds it almost seems as if its programmed to read ur inputs so u can’t actually win in the later stages multiple of my friends play this game on their own device and none of them have actually won in the finals of any of the brackets
